Me and Annabeth  split when she decided  to go find Thalia and Grover as we lost track of them. I turned trying to find her only to see a floppy green hat a little over 15 meters away with doctor Thorn moving the Di Angelo's along. Instead of getting help like I should have I rushed out of the door to follow Dr Thorn since it wasn't like I had time to get the others anyways.

I got Riptide my pen sword I know cool right out of my pocket as I was running and opened to door into a dark hall way.  I uncapped Riptide after hearing some sounds of scuffling and a painful grunt. Riptide grew in my hands into a bronze Greek xiphos that had a slight glow to it. I jogged down the Hall way to find myself back at the entry hall.

I didn't see  Dr Thorn anywhere but on the opposite side of the room I saw the Di Angelo kids. They were stood frozen in horror starring at me or maybe something behind me but there isn't a high chance of anything behind me. I moved towards them slowly pointing my sword towards the ground "It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you."

They didn't say anything. They still looked terrified. I had no clue what was wrong with them. Where was Thorn? Hopefully Thorn sensed my sword and left. Monsters despise celestial bronze which is what my sword is made of.  "My name's Percy" I said keeping my voice level to hopefully get them to calm down "I'm going to take you out of here, and get you somewhere safe."

Bianca's eyes widened. Then I realized there was something behind me. And they weren't afraid of me they were trying to warn me. I whirled around as some kind of spike impaled itself into my shoulder with pain spreading from that region it also impaled me into a near by wall.

I kept my sword in hand somehow and slashed at where the spike came from the wall I am attached to was not far away from it but I didn't hit anything and hear a cold laugh. "yes Perseus Jackson." Dr Thorn said. Somehow he had a French accent and he mangled the J in my name. "I know who you are." He finished as I try to pull the spike from my shoulder. My shirt and coat were pinned to the wall by the spike it seemed familiar in some way but I don't know how.

I forced myself to concentrate. I would not pass out. A Dark silhouette Moved towards the light to reveal Dr Thorn. He looked human with a ghoulish face. "Thank you for coming out the gym" He smirked at me "I hate middle-school dances."

I swung at him with my sword again but he was just out of reach. He didn't appear to move but he shot a second projectile from behind as if there was something behind him throwing them.

Next to me Bianca yelped. The spike Thorn shot impaled itself right next to Bianca's head. "All three of you will come with me." He said "Quietly, Obediently. If you make a single noise, call out or try to fight  I will show you just how accurately I can throw." he sneered. I unimpaled myself from the spike and followed Thorn with the Di Angelos.

I have no clue what monster Dr Thorn is, but hes fast. I might be able to defend myself if I got my shield out but no way I could defend the Di Angelo kids as well. I needed help and there was really only one way that could happen.

I closed my eyes. Now before you call me stupid this is a thought out plan... mostly.

"What are you doing, Jackson? Keep Moving." Thorn hissed.

There was really only one thing I could do and I was never good at it. Time to lie. "It's my shoulder" I say trying to sound as miserable as possible which wasn't to hard "It burns."

"Bah! My poison causes pain not death at least not usually. But still WALK!" We were herded by Thorn outside. I tried to picture Grover to send a message to him. Last summer Grover created an empathy link with me allowing us to talk to each other.
