The sea water is so clear that I can see myself in it. Even on this hot summer day the wind messes up my hair, pulling it so hard that it loosens it. I remember a person who often played with my hair, ended up making tails too high or braids, but my mind has erased the memories related to it.

"I'll be teaming up with you starting today." 

A person approaches me, sitting down on the wooden bridge."I'm Kisame Hoshigaki, formerly of the Hidden Mist. One of the Seven Ninja Swordmen, so please to make your acquaintance."

I listen to his words, letting him introduce himself. "You are Itachi Uchiha, formerly of the Hidden Leaf. I have heard the rumors that you slaughter all of your fellow Uchiha clansmen." 

I don't answer, continuing to look at the living creatures that populate the waters, they are certainly more interesting than an unimportant guy. "I think we are alike, you and I. "Because of cannibalism, right from the moment they hatch, they start eating each other inside their mother's uterus. The fratricidal warfare begins as soon as they're born. To each shark, all the others are just food to be eaten."

"Starting today, you are an Akatsuki member and my companion, so be wary of me."

"Same goes for you." He laughs softly, looking at the sharingan I revealed. "Well, let's be friend and have some fun. Alright? And hope that we will not end up as each other's finale opponents."

"No one who dares to raise their hand against a comrade ever dies a decent death. Remember that." He giggles, "well that means our fates are sealed. Seems you and I are depraved and worthless."

"Not true. We are both human, not fish. No matter who you are, you don't truly know what kind of man you've become until you reach the very end."

After saying these words, I go away, leaving him alone to watch the sharks. He really talks a lot. I'm forced to be his teammate until Sasuke gets strong enough to kill me so I can offer him my eyes. I wonder what he is doing on such sunny day. 

I guess I'll go take a look, how long has it been? How old will he be now? How much will he grow? What will he be like? I wish I could stand by him and watch him grow and learn new things, but I can't. For him I must be a traitor. The leaf village hasn't made security stable, it's still too easy to enter without being noticed.

He should be busy with chunin selection exams, I'm sure he will be able to pass. He has always worked so hard to achieve his goals, he will surely be able to overcome them without problems. And that's where I find him, intent on training in a forest, I can see that he can already use the sharingan, unfortunately I also see another thing that I was hoping to avoid.
