Chapter 9: Growing Bonds

Third Person P.O.V

It had been two weeks since Rosemary's encounter with her sister at the cafe, and she couldn't help but feel..........empty?Rosemary saw the despair, loneliness, and regret in Yuki's eyes, and that caused Rosemary to grow......soft on her biological sister who always hated her. She had conflicting emotions stirring, and she began to wonder....if the Kurgans really did miss her. Her brothers knew she was feeling conflicted, and they tried to help her, but she didn't want them to be troubled with her burdens.

Tonight while she was asleep, Rosemary had a dream of her past when she lived with her real family, the Kurans. She was getting the same beating and yelling for what? Supposedly, the maids and servants told her that when she was born she had the blue lapis colored eyes as him. Rido Kuran. Her parents hated her for that, but she still loved them, she even loved her uncle dearly, who was as close to a father figure in her life.

Rosemary sighed, as she sat up in her bed and went to get some water, to soothe her parched throat. She heard a whimper as she stood in front of the kitchen doors, and she quietly opened the door to she, Yui. The girl had a deep gash on her palm, making her blood ooze out. Rosemary's eyes turned in to their hungry glowing red color, but she forced it away. She went to Yui and gingerly placed her hand on the shorter females shoulder." Yui?"

Said female jumped up startled and sighed in relief to see Rosemary, but blushed as she saw the beautiful vampiress attire. Rosemary had on a black mid thigh strapless lace dress, and her cheek were flushed, while her breathing came out in gasps, and she had disheveled hair, making Yui think she just had......

" Let me help you." Yui sheepishly handed her palm to the kind vampiress and saw as she cleaned and bandaged the wound.

" I'm sorry.......for......disrupting your.........activities." Yui said with a blush as she faced the floor. Rosemary paused and giggled. Startled Yui looked up at Rosemary who had a kind smile.

" I wasn't having.....that. If that's what you mean, I was sleeping and had a nightmare. I woke up and came down for some water. " Yui gasped in shame, and had a red blush across her cheeks.

" I'm sorry. For...assuming things."

Rosemary gently patted Yui's head and smiled." It's alright, now be careful next time Yui." The blonde nodded, while Rosemary paused at the door frame. Rosemary turned to Yui,and smiled." If you need anything, or just want to talk, please do come to me...Yui chan." With that the vampiress disappeared. Yui smiled, happy that she had someone, who cared for her.

" Thank you. Onee-Sama." Yui whispered and slowly and quietly went to bed.
