"Well, maybe in our dimension they did blow it shut." Em supplied. "But in this dimension it wasn't blown shut for whatever reason." She paused. "The better question is how this box is related to our 'task' - whatever it is."
"Isn't that one obvious though?" Samantha cut in, opening her hot pink buck knife to expose the blade as she did so. "We gotta destroy that people-eating-monster-thingy."
"NO!" Greg jerked back and started sprinting away from Samantha as fast as he could. He would drown the box in the river before letting anyone open it.
