Kyle's pov

I was heading to fetch Avni to greet my parents but before I could have reached there I got all from Abhimaan, guilt rushed up inside me. I ignored his call.

He called again, I ignored again, it happened a few more times then I picked up the call.

"You know you could have told me that you won't let Riah go that day only, she wouldn't have been hurt now," he said straight away without any greetings, he didn't sound angry but instead sad and disappointed. "You know she saw you having sex with Riah" he told and the expression and words of hers again made an appearance in my mind. "I know" I said, "And still you are talking so calmly without any guilt" he said, "If you had to do this only so why did you have sex with her on the night of bachelor party, why did you give her false hopes, she is hurting a lot now and still that stupid girl is defending you, I won't shout on you or be angry like I should be because I understand your perspective as well but don't do it again Kyle, be loyal to her, please I beg you, try to love her she is an amazing person, value her before it's too late......" "Amazing person my foot" I scoffed, "Do you even know how evil she is?" I asked.

"What are you talking about, you are at fault and still you are trying to accuse her" he said raising his voice slightly. And with that I narrated everything to him.

"This can't be true, stop making up stories, she is so naive, she can't do this" he said in disbelief.

"I am sending you proofs I received, then say whatever you want." I replied and forwarded him screenshots of that unknown text and that recording.

"This... this can't be....." he muttered in disbelief, "I also thought same but after hearing that recording, her confessing she loves me and Riah getting shot, I can't deny it anymore" I replied, "I.... I..... don't know what to say, she wasn't like this before" he stuttered, "She must be, she just didn't let you notice" I said, "I am sorry Kyle..... But still try to be..... Try to be a little considerate" he requested and I replied affirmatively.

I found my room empty when I went there, did she run away? No she won't she told me last night, but she could've.

I started searching for her to found her in palace kitchen, she looked up at me with a smile, but her eyes had sadness.

"You woke up?" she chimed, "Did you sleep well?" she further asked, I ignored her questions and told her, "We need to greet my parents" I said, "Done" she replied softly and added a cup full of sugar in the dish she was preparing. "What's this?" I asked, "Badam Ka halwa, it's a sweet dish made by almonds" she explained softly with a smile, she is so good in pretending.

"Can I taste?" I asked as it smelled amazing. "No, first I need to place a part of it for Kanha ji" she said, I nodded.

"Your Highness, Riah Mam is denying to eat this pasta made by us" Riah's personal maid informed, I frowned, Avni looked at us with a sad expression then quickly covered it up with a smile.

Gosh this woman, but for now I need to care for Riah not her, "What she wants?" I asked, "She says she would eat only if Crown Princess apologizes her and makes food for her everyday" the maid said, making my eyes go wide.

I called Riah immediately.

"What's this baby? Why do you want her to apologize and cook food for you?" I asked, "I am just helping you to make her feel bad you know" she replied, making me frown unknowingly and I replied with an okay and ended the call.

"You... you listen" I said to Avni who was engaged into her sweet dish. "Yes" she replied, "Cook pasta for my love, apologize to her" I said, "For?" she asked, "You aren't entitled to question me just do what I say" I said and left.
