Timeskip: 4 years.
Royal Palace Mewar's
"Avni we have a marriage proposal for you" Abhimaan said grimly to his sister who was staring out of the window into god knows what.
"Who is it?" she asked, "Sehaj Raichand" her brother announced.
"He is not a royalty" she said, "But neither less than that" Abhimaan said proudly after all Sehaj Raichand was his one and only best friend, who deserved every bit of his sister, and his sister deserved every bit of him.
"Haan hai meri taraf se (It's a yes)" she said after all she can't always mourn after her ex-husband, who never once spared her a loving glance.
"Bacha no one is forcing you" Abhimaan reminded her softly and left.
In Korea.
Alcohol, easiest escape from all his miseries.
It's been four years, since she left him. And he never once thought he would miss her like this, did she miss him like this only? She couldn't have right, and this intensifies his guilt.
Ishq hain humara aap You are my love.
Her last words to him never stopped ringing in his mind, if that day instead of running up to that vile woman who tried to kill him, he would have embraced the one who saved him, he wouldn't be lonely like this, he wouldn't have been secluded like this.
He opened her closet, and the last remnants of her with him were in front of his sight, all of her clothes, ranging from those heavy lehengas and gowns to her lingeries. Now even her smell has faded away.
When she was with him, he never valued her, he never for once realized he started loving her to the extent that her absence would trouble him this way, and when he realized it was too late.
There's a vast difference between guilt and love.
What he felt towards Riah was always guilt, guilt of snatching away her parents in an accident caused by his father and with Avni it was love, which he realized too late. It made him feel more guilty seeing Riah hurt but in Avni's case it pained him as if someone stabbed him in gut and still he went up to Riah that day.
"Your Majesty, her majesty is getting remarried" his personal secretary informed him and that was all he crushed the glass he was holding into pieces in his hand only. "You are invited" the man stuttered, Kyle glared at him and he immediately disappeared from there.
"Why Avni, did your love for me fade away?' he murmured to himself and tried to cry but a single tear didn't come out. He scoffed lightly. "After all you also deserve to be happy, in fact you deserve all the happiness in this world princess" he said to himself and shipped out his phone from his pocket to record another voice message for her, which she always left on seen.
At Mewar's Palace
She was sitting at the same place, just a few hours passed, nothing else.
Her phone pinged, she knowingly opened it, it was him of course.
A smile laced her always frown marred lips. Why did she smile? She hates herself for it!
"I got to know about your wedding princess, I am sad but happy for you, after all my princess deserves all the possible happiness from this world, who is he though? He isn't like me right? I know I am not in place to say it but tell me if he makes you shred a single tear, I swear it would be my sword and his neck. I really miss you love, I want you back but I know I don't deserve a second chance at all I would never be worthy of it" he said and it ended.
