A COUPLE OF WEEKS HAD GONE BY, soul has officially been ungrounded but he and (y/n) have yet to go on a date and that's all due to soul being a coward and also not knowing how to ask her out and plan a date.
during those weeks he had been grounded, (y/n) had told him that she had managed to repair and regain her friendship with soul, of course she had set some boundaries with the boy. now, their friendship won't be the same as it used to be but hopefully it'll be something better this time.
soul was okay with it. he didn't mind, all he cared about was (y/n) being happy.
as long as she was happy then he's at peace.
now that soul thinks about it, he can see as why everyone else thinks him and riko's beef is childish. he cringes just thinking about the recent fight with him, and how he mistakenly thought that riko might've been crushing on (y/n) this whole time because he was being overprotective.
when they were arguing before they threw punches at each other, riko mentioned on how (y/n) was one of the first people that actually listened to him, someone who was always there for him and didn't leave him for someone else.
now that soul thinks about it more he realizes riko might've felt abandoned. losing the one friend whose willing to listen to you talk is hard. and considering riko's past family issue might've added on to that.
soul doesn't know if he'll ever be friends with riko again, they both said some real hurtful things to each other in the past. but if there ever was a chance they could be friends again then he might take it, he misses his company.
