Venus I see you
With those dark clouds hovering above you
And my heart breaks to pieces
Because maybe, you'll never be mine
The clouds hide your orange from me
And I can't imagine the heat any longer
If all I see through the telescope is a void
There are days like these
When I try so hard to find you but can't
And the tears blur my vision
Because my favorite muse is out of sight
I can't eat or sleep
And wait for the nights
Hoping to see your orange show
As a sign that you miss me too
On nights like these though
I wait in vain
Without even a glimmer of color
From the venus I once knew and lovedVenus I see you
Telling me I make you blush
And should look away
But I keep stealing glances
Until you tell me, babe stop,
And I smile awkwardly
Knowing my eyes on you have an effect
You glow, you just are
Like an image implanted in my memory
A thing I would never trade
There are days like these
I am so happy but can't say
Because no one would ever understand
Oh how I slept with Venus
Oh how my world was set ablaze
Oh how I have turned fluid
With the touch of my Venus
And it's nights like these
That make me go forth in life
With a smile as bright
And a dimple for you VenusVenus I see you
And I don't know exactly how I feel
Or the words to express it
But am burning with rage
Not from your heat, but an anger
Slowly built by your carelessness
You don't show up for days
The night sky empty as my heart
And then come back blazing a bright orange
Smiling relentlessly like nothing happened
And I get sick from your audacity
Though am glad to see you
I also want to tear you to shreds
For making me miss you
Have some consistency Venus
For when you show up or not
Because nights like these when I worry
It gets hard not to hate youVenus I see you
Long for you
Want you close
And even when I have gone through phases
That keep repeating like patterns
That rotate around you and I
Tying us in an unbreakable bond
I pray fervently
That you can see my heart
Bared out to you
As I lay watch, at night
My eyes out for you Venus
Because nights of longing like these
Make me both loathe and love you
With an infinite energy
I am not sure of the origin
But whether fate or destiny
Make my suffering stop
And my longing shorter
Dear Venus.
