The universe so vast
Still amazes me
With the infinite detail
In each infinite being
From a grain of sand
To you Venus
And the galaxies at large
You are my muse
My Mahatma Ghandhi
A gift I stumbled upon
Coincidentally or by predestination
The universe so vast
Does confuse me tooAre you the one promised
The one fervently prayed for
The one I was born for
My reason for existence
Are you the one I have kept this purity for
Turned into rock for
Heartless, lest any man take advantage
Of what belongs to him who was promised
Are you the one
For whom my heart yearned
And woke up with song
Knowing one day,
It will be us
Are you all this
My venus, my GhandhiOr you are just another lesson
Scotch and get burned
If your hands come near me
Or you are a bored man
Here to waste time away
With a chubby girl you once saw
A dark spot against her cheek
And you thought it amusing
Or you are a confused man
Tied up between options
Now that you have found me
Who you had all along awaited
But just showed up immediately you messed up
Or you are a man in love
Not sure what to do here after
Now that you found her
One whom your whole existence depends on.All the planets bear witness
As to how you were made
For and with me
To have a meaningful existence
Now telescopes I hold
That I have found you
Tell me, how do I attend you
How do I live
Now that I found my purpose
How do I even start
A journey no one ever had before
How do I attend you
Now that you are hereDo I shout over the rooftops
And let the whole world know
An internet of social networks
That my love is here
One who I have longed
And prayed fervently for
Many say prayers
But few see the grace
Of answers
And of those few
Fewer recognize the answers
I see you Venus
I recognize you my answer
Though left with a query
Now that I know
What do I do
How do I attend youI have prayed for love
Wandered across earth
Sometimes jolly
Sometimes sad
Mostly yearning and questioning
When my time is coming
Here I stand blessed
To see my time come before my time is done
To see you and live for you
An answer to my prayers
Satiation to my longing
Rod to my molten iron
A firm hand holding my breast
A man that has known my depth.
