Injured

Sam Winchester had always been tough, but even he couldn't avoid getting hurt on a particularly dangerous hunt. The brothers had been tracking a powerful demon through the woods, and things had gone south quickly.

Sam had been thrown against a tree, his head hitting the rough bark with a sickening thud. Dean had rushed to his side, fear and panic in his eyes as he assessed the damage.

"Sammy, can you hear me?" he asked, tapping his brother's cheek gently.

Sam groaned, his eyes fluttering open. "Dean? What happened?" he mumbled, his head pounding.

"You hit your head pretty hard," Dean explained, his voice soft and soothing. "We need to get you some help."

He carefully helped his brother to his feet, supporting him as they made their way back to the Impala. Sam was dizzy and disoriented, stumbling over roots and rocks as they walked.

Once they were back at the motel, Dean set to work patching up his brother's injuries. He cleaned the gash on Sam's forehead and carefully checked him for any other injuries. Sam winced as he touched a particularly tender spot on his ribs.

"Easy, Sammy," Dean murmured, his hand gentle on his brother's back. "Just take it slow."

Sam lay back on the bed, his eyes closed as he tried to fight off the pain and nausea that threatened to overwhelm him. Dean sat beside him, his hand resting on Sam's arm.

"It's gonna be okay, Sammy," he whispered. "I've got you."

Sam nodded weakly, grateful for his brother's comforting presence. Despite the pain, he felt a sense of peace wash over him, knowing that Dean was there to take care of him.

As the hours passed, Dean remained at Sam's side, bringing him water and checking on him regularly. He refused to leave until he was sure that Sam was stable and on the mend.

In the end, Sam made a full recovery, thanks in no small part to his brother's unwavering love and support. Though the hunt had been grueling and painful, Sam knew that he had come out the other side with his brother by his side, and that was all that mattered.
