Jacob POV
I walked In the house from the platinum party, which was super lit by the way. Everyone must've been gone because the house was quiet. I walked upstairs and into my room. As I layed on the bed I felt a pair of hands removing my jacket. When I turned around it was Passion.
Passion : Hey party animal
Jacob : I though everyone was gone, it was mad quiet in here
Passion : We are all in the backyard grilling out. I heard when your car pulled in the driveway so I made my way up here
Jacob : Oh ok
Passion : I have a serious question to ask you Jake. And I don't want you to get offended when I ask either
Jacob : Wassup
Passion : Do you still love Ciara? Like I saw the way you looked at her when y'all were playing piano earlier, and I've been peeping how whenever she talks you give her your undivided attention
Jacob : Come on baby, you know I only have eyes for you
Passion : You have a funny way of showing it sometimes. Look if you want her go after her, but if it's me you want. Then you need to step up your game. Because I won't play second fiddle to not a damn soul. And me and her are becoming real close friends
Jacob : Baby you have nothing to worry about. I'm all yours, she's happy in her relationship and I'm happy in mine
She looked me in my eye and smiled before crawling out of bed and standing in the door frame.
Passion : Only time will tell
And with that she left the room
Ciara POV
I sat by the pool and vibed out with everyone waiting on Passion to return. When she did she looked like something was bothering her but she was trying to play it off. I embraced her in a hug and rubbed her back.
Passion : Thanks bestie, I really needed that
Ciara : Anytime
Just as I released her Jacob walked out side and was greeted by the boys. He looked like he was bothered as well but was trying to mask it with a smile. He walked over to us and sat down pulling passion in for a kiss.
Ciara : Ughhh, get a room
Passion : Girl please, don't act like you ain't enjoy the view
We all laughed and turned our attention to the debate happening at the grill between Diggy and Romello. It died down when Issa yelled in his dad voice and everyone went silent.
The mini party continued for about an hour more. Then we all cleaned up and started heading inside. The last two left putting food away were Passion and me. She still looked a little bothered by something so I used this time to see what it was.
Ciara : Girl, what's on your mind. You've been looking dazed all day
Passion : Girl, I - nothing. It's ok
Ciara : You sure? I got time to talk
Passion : Yea girl, just got a lot going through my mind concerning this new music. Just trying to balance everything out mentally
Ciara : Yea, I understand. But keep up the good work. You got some bangers?
Passion : Yea. In fact I'll play one now
As the record finished playing we heard a clap from behind us. It was Jacob.
Jacob : That was dope baby
Passion : Thanks
Jacob : Look, I wanna apologize for making you feel like I'm not into you as much as I was before. You're my leading lady and nothing could change that. Not even old emotions I may have had for an old friend
Ciara : Awe
Passion : I accept your apology Jacob. Truth is I guess I was jealous of the natural chemistry that you guys shared. I love you
They kissed and I teared up just a little bit, this is true love at its best. And I'm glad Jacob has someone to make him happy. Even if it isn't me.
Issa : Yo, I hate to break up this mushy session y'all are having, but I'm tryna go out tonight. Yall down
All : Yea
Passion : I've been dying to hit that karaoke bar downtown up. I heard it's lit
Issa : Well let's get ready then
One Hour Later
While still waiting on everyone to get ready I walked downstairs to the piano room. When I walked in I heard music playing. It was Romello, he was playing one of my favorite songs from Cinderella. " So This Is Love ".
I leaned on the piano mid song and just listened as he played. He has a way with his fingers. Once he realized I was there he started smirking and looking at me while playing. Those eyes took me to another world as he played and I listened it was as if the room disappeared and we were floating on air.
As he finished he looked at me and closed the piano up. He smiled again.
Romello : Wassup Stranger, or should I say superstar
Ciara : Nothing much. Just waiting on everyone to come down so we can go to this karaoke bar
Romello : Oh same. Jacob is proposing to Passion tonight so I flew in as a surprise so she'd have family here. While we wait you wanna come play me something, it's been a minute
Ciara : Sure, I guess I have time to give you a few pointers
He smirked and uncovered the piano again. He moved over and allowed me to sit next to him. I thought of what to play and then I let my hands lead the way.
As I finished Romello was staring into my soul. He leaned in and tried to kiss me but I quickly avoided it.
Ciara : Look, I'm in a very serious relationship. And I love him, so we can't be a thing anymore
Romello : My bad, I guess I never got over you. Let's go see what's taking everyone so long
We walked into the living room and saw everyone coming downstairs. Passion saw Romello and she instantly pushed everyone out the way to get to him.
Passion : Brother, what are you doing here
Romello : Jesus piping in town to see my big sister, didn't know I had to make an appointment
Passion : Boy please, you know I love seeing you
Jacob : Good to see you bro, how's the music industry treating you
Romello : Good man, everything is good
We all headed to the cars and headed towards the club. I need a drink because I can already tell this is finna be a long night 🤦🏽♂️.
