No matter how long we stays in a place. A time will come and you have to leave.
Sister Menerva told me that I was left behind the door of cathedral. My mother left me with an handkerchief with a name on the side.
"Caroline will meet his future parents today." Sister Menerva said. "I hope he will choose his parents now. Caroline deserves to have a parents."
My head heat up. Caroline would never leave this place without me. It's either staying here with me or me going with him.
"I don't think Caroline would agree." I said with confident. We always talk about this matter. No matter how the family's riches, we would never agree to be adopted.
"But Caroline said to me earlier that he will choose now." my whole existence stopped when I heard sister Lily muttered. "You need to grow up without him, Freya."
"But I can't!" I said almost close to crying!
Sister Menerva laugh when she saw my eyes welled up in tears. She then tap my head and caressed my cheeks.
"Listen, little Freya. The more you depend yourself to Caroline the more Caroline would end up being locked his self up."
"But that's exactly our plan." I said.
Sister Menerva only gave me her smiled and then she continue to comb my hair.
"You should attend your class, Freya." Caroline following me while I was walking my way to my room.
"I don't want it! I want to live with my own knowledge not with their theories!" I angrily said while crossing my arms in my chest.
"But this is for your own good. You don't even know how to write your name." he was convincing me again!
"I don't!" I rolled my eyes at him. If he wants it. Then attend it alone!
"But what about..." he trailed and he caught my attention. "We'll practice on it with writing a letter? Shall we?" he gives me his beautiful and warm smile and my young hearts fell again.
