Kitty POV

After hearing my father say let's talk after breakfast, I feel anxious. Lots of things and questions floating in my mind right now. Oh God, what will I do now, but looking at how relaxed Minho is around my family makes me feel delighted. He happily answer all their questions and my family seems satisfied.  They all give me a look of approval and because of this, I feel my cheeks heat up. Minho's charm works like magic, everybody seems to like him.

After finishing our eventful breakfast I know that it's time for the "talk".

So here we are in our living room with my dad, me, and Minho, my stomach is now twisting like knots because of so much anticipation.

" So Minho, why exactly are you here?"
My dad asks seriously

"It's an abrupt decision to come here, Mr. Covey, I'm worried that Kitty is angry at me. She didn't chat back or pick up my calls. I don't want her to think that my love confession to her is not sincere. So I quickly book a flight from Barcelona to Portland to check on her. And I forgot to book a place to stay, so I just go here instead." Minho said in determination

"You said that you already confessed your feelings to my daughter? When was that? And why do you like Kitty?" My father said while looking directly at Minho

Why do I feel this way? Why am I nervous? Maybe because I'm also curious about what his going to answer.

"I confessed to her while we were on a plane. At first, I tried so hard to hide my feelings for Kitty because she was in a relationship with my best friend. But when she said that they broke up I realized that I need to let her know what I feel. Your daughter is really beautiful and has a great personality. She is someone who makes me think about anything about myself. I wanted her to know me, to look at me like how she looked at Dae and Yuri. So I did everything to catch her attention, without me knowing it. And as the days pass by I know that I'm head over heels in love with her. I wanted to properly court your daughter and I wanted to ask your permission for that Mr. Covey" Minho said proudly while smiling

I know that by this very moment, my cheeks are already on fire, I'm blushing so hard that I know that both Minho nor my dad doesn't fail to notice. Plus my heart is having a double-take because of what Minho just said.

"From the day I saw both of you smiling at the airport I know how much you like for my youngest daughter. And how you promise that you will always take care of her, I know that you are sincere. I'm a father and I know if somebody like my daughter, and by what you said a moment ago, I give you my blessing to court Kitty. You can also stay here in our house while you're here in Portland. I wanted to know more about you."  My father said while smiling

"Thank you so much, Mr. Cover, I promise to take care of her."

"But promise me, that both of you will behave yourselves, no funny business." My dad said to the both of us while smirking

"Dad, please let's not talk about bees and flowers. And all about contraceptives, I already heard it when you talk about it to my sisters." I said shyly while still blushing

And as I looked at Minho his also blushing so hard that he looks more handsome because of it.

"I also become a teenager myself and in love. Sometimes we do things because of hormones and forget about everything. I'm not ready to have little Kitty or Minho running around the house."

" Dad, can we please end our talk?" I plead with my dad

"Okay, okay you both can go. But always remember what I told you."

"Okay Dad, love you."

I grab Minho's hand, pulling him upstairs with me.

Oh God, I'm so embarrassed now.
