It's Christmas Eve and Min Ho insists on cooking everyone a traditional Korean dish, that he and his Mom prepares during Christmas. It's one more "thank you" for letting him spend the holiday with their family.
Song Covey sisters, Peter and Minho drive to a Korean supermarket to pick up ingredients for later that night.
"Thanks, Minho for offering to cook tonight. Kitty sent us pictures of the dishes you made for Chuseok and they all look mouth-watering. We told Kitty that she should ask you for the recipe so that we can make it at home." says Lara Jean.
"Please, don't mention it. My favorite part of that was just being with Kitty, and learning about each other's families. It's one of my favorite moments with Kitty."
When they arrive back home, Min Ho immediately prepares everything they will use for cooking. Min Ho wears the same cartoon character apron from KISS and that puts a smile on Kitty's face. She remembers the moment that Minho volunteer to help her cook during Chuseok. He then presents her with an apron " A gift for you my Kitty cat".
"When I saw that apron I immediately think of you," Minho said while grinning
As Kitty unravels the item in her hand, she sees that it's a pink Hello Kitty apron. She excitedly puts on the apron and gets to work with Min Ho, cooking side by side.
"You know Kitty, preparing Christmas dish with you for your family like this feels like we're newlyweds. I like to do this every year from now on."
" I like that, both of us cooking every Christmas Eve like this. So Minho you're stuck with me from now on." Kitty said happily
"Don't worry love, I'll stick by your side forever."
"By the way Minho, have you told Dae about us? I'm just worried, he might think that we both betrayed him. I don't want to ruin your friendship." Kitty said while looking at him
"I already called him, and he said that we should talk personally when I come back to Korea. But he told me that he is not mad because he already suspects that I like you. He told me not to worry and just take good care of you."
"Well that's a relief, so now let's finish cooking to start the party."

Since it's Christmas Eve and they are just at home, Mr. Covey thinks it's ok for Kitty to have some wine. When no one is looking, Kitty drinks five glasses in quick succession. She's starting to get a little sloppy, but Min Ho quickly steadies her and tells her Dad that he will take her upstairs.
Min Ho gets Kitty to her bedroom and tries to sober her up, convincing her to drink some water, but she instead looks at him with lustful eyes and kisses him. And then she starts to unbutton his shirt but he stops her. This is not how Min Ho wants things to happen and because he respects her.
Kitty puts her hands on Minho's neck and stares directly into his eyes. "Yeah, Minho don't you want me? I thought you love me."
"You know that I love you so much Kitty, but your drunk and I don't want to take advantage of your situation. If we will do it I want both of us to be sober. I want it to be memorable for both of us. Plus we're in your home, what will your family thinks we should respect them."
There's no doubt he loves Kitty and a big part of him wants nothing more than to let this happen, but he knows it's not right and when Kitty is thinking straight again, he knows she would hate what happened.
Minho gets something from his pocket and opens a box containing a beautiful necklace. "Merry Christmas love, I love you." He puts the necklace on her neck and put his handwritten letter on her bedside.
"Thank you so much Minho, my gift is in my drawer but I feel dizzy when I stand up," Kitty said
"Don't worry I'll get it myself. Thank you so much my Kitty cat. But for now, sleep okay, I'll put a glass of water on your bedside table and drink it. Good night love." Minho kisses her on her forehead and gets up.
He walks towards her drawer and gets her gift for him. He opens it and inside is a pajama with XO Kitty printed on it. A note is also posted that said "It's a couple pajamas, hope you like it. I customize the design, it's cute, right? I love you Minho, Merry Christmas, let's wear it sometimes, XO Kitty ❤❤❤"
Minho looks at Kitty one last time smiling happily, before he goes back to the party downstairs.
