Two Hearts Collide // XO Kitty (Kitty x Minho)

Minho POV

With a heavy heart, I'm packing my stuff because it's two days before Christmas and I needed to go back to LA. I wanted to spend this Christmas with Kitty but I also wants to be with my Mom. But suddenly my phone rang,

"Hi son, how are you?"

"I'm okay Mom, I'm already packing my stuff coz I'm going back to LA tomorrow."

"About that, I think that I'm unable to spend this Christmas with you. My schedule is tightly packed and we needed to work until Christmas. I'm sorry Minho, if I could I wanted to be with you this Christmas like how we used to do every year." My mom sounds worried

"It's okay Mom, I know how passionate you are in your work and I will always support you. Don't worry about me okay." I tried to sound okay, but I know I'm not

Suddenly Kitty knocks and opens the door, and by the looks of it, I know that she hears my conversation with my mom. She sets beside me and waves at my Mom.

"Hi Auntie, sorry to hear about your conversation." She said shyly

"Auntie? Kitty from now on you should also call me Mom. Minho already told me that you are now officially in a relationship."

"Mom...." Kitty said while blushing

"You know Kitty I always wanted to have a daughter and I think that my wish already come true. You two are perfect for each other. My baby boy always talks about you, and I think that his world revolves around you." My Mom said happily

"Mom, please I'm embarrassed right now. You know it's our secret, what Kitty will think of me." I said while smiling

"You know Kitty, why not come to LA this new year so that I can meet you in person? We can have a lovely dinner and chat a lot about my son. That will be fun, please Kitty." My mom is now convincing Kitty

I know that I also wanted her to be with us this new year, so I hope that she agrees.

"Of course, I would love to, but I also needed to ask my dad if he agrees to it," Kitty said

"Okay then, I'll see you both on new year's Day. Love you. Bye"

"Love you, Mom."

The Covey family agrees to let Minho spend his Christmas with them because they know that they are now a couple. They are happy because Kitty seems to radiate with happiness ever since the day she accepts Minho's love.

A DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Before Kitty can ask her Dad if she can spend New Year's Eve with Minho and his Mom,  lots of Christmas packages arrive. Everyone is looking at each other in confusion and by the looks of it Kitty and Minho already know who the sender is.

All the gifts are from Minhos Mom.

Min Ho pulls out gifts for everyone, his Mom said that it is a thank you for letting him stay with them. Dan and Trina were already at ease, but this just makes it more real.

First is a new kitchen utensil for Dan and Trina. He told his Mom that Kitty's dad loves to cook as much as he does. Next, he takes out skincare and beauty products for the lovely Song Covey sisters. It's a mix of products that he and his mom use. The two older sisters excitedly insist that tonight, they all must immediately use it. Lastly, Min Ho pulls out several bags of popular Korean snack items for Peter.

Gifts are Minho and his Mom love language, Kitty thinks.

After giving the gifts,  Minho and Kitty ask if she can come to LA to spend New Year's Eve. Because of Kitty's persuasive ability, her Dad agrees but she needs to call him every day to make sure she is okay.
