Broken Wall

I remember arriving here, blindfolded being trapped in the Box feeling it shake so agressively that left burises. When i lay down i still remember that feeling, it has been years since that day, the day i was brought into this maze to rot.

There's quite a bit of us probably 20 or more, only females have been brought here. None of us have ever remembered what happens before waking up in the Box.

I'm the leader of the group. I'm the oldest I've been here the longest and I've had the most success with the trials. I'm Maddison I have a core group of girls that I call my girls. Olivia, Amy and Logan. Olivia is the brains of our group knows everything about everything, Amy is the muscle of the group if we need anything she's out go to, and Logan? Well Logan is my sister. She has to be in my group.

I do not trust people to go on runs alone, they do not know the Maze like i do. Even with the model Maze i made i do not trust them, maybe it is i do not want to lose more people but i will never take that risk either. So I will run by myself.

Grievers are fast and annoying. Deadly creatures. I was stung once when I first got here, that pain I felt the agonizing pain made me wish i was dead, I didnt die clearly or else i wouldnt be here. I received this letter from W.I.C.K.E.D a day after i was stung with this vial saying "This will save you"

Why I got this i do not know but i knew i need it so i didnt care what it was i took it, i wish i could explain the pain i felt then the release of pain but i barely remember it. I can find a way out i can but i need help.

"Hey Maddy" Amy said shaking me awake

Sleeping with my knife has given me comfort so being shaken awake my knife is my go to.

I grabbed my knife looking at her "My god Amy you know I hate that." I stood up putting my knife away "What is up"

"Im sorry but the doors are open, rotation 8 today." she said holding my running bag

Rubbing my eyes reaching for my bag "Thank you" I yawned walking towards the North Doors "Okay where is Logan?"

"Still sleeping I got her you go run" Amy said rubbing her neck

I stood watching the doors open slowly taking a couple deep breaths preparing myself then taking off

The Maze is poorly built, like it was build in a rush. The walls break down more than they stand, running through the maze is dangerous not even talking about the greivers that roam at night.

As I am running through the maze I see a wall that normally leads to a dead end is broken down leading into another part of the maze. I stood there a moment looking at the new part of a maze I see trying to convince myself to not go and not risk my life but this could be a exit for us.

Sighing knowing this most likely will kill me i started running through the broken wall seeing a almost new Maze. Nothing like our Maze this maze looks put together not rushed not damaged. Looks new. Running through this made me hopeful of a new life. A new beginning even.

I stopped running catching my breath looking around I see something ahead of me, squinting my eyes i realize its not something. Its someone.

I stood there almost shocked then i started walking to the person i see "Are you real?" I yelled still keeping my distance from them

The person turned around walking towards me but i kept backing up "Are you real?" He yells back

"Im Maddison"

"Im Minho"

We stood there for a moment just looking at each other before he broke the silence

"Where did you come from" he yells

"Theres a hole in the wall back this way, a different maze from the looks of it. Where did you come from"

"There is a camp back out this way. Are you Stung?"

"Not at all. Are you?"

"No. Can I trust you Maddison"

"Depends, can i trust you Minho?"

"One wrong move and ill kill you, you hear me?"

"The same goes for you then" I said walking to him slowly keeping my knife in my hand

"Finish this run with me and ill take you to our camp. Deal?"

"Deal, no funny business from either of us deal?"

"Deal"
