Although Barcode had always considered himself to be a sentimental individual, every emotion he felt was personified around Jeff.

Somehow the sun shined a little brighter when their fingers interlocked. And while his fears dissipated for a time, the fear of losing the man he loved still lurked in the back of his mind like a shadow. Each time the two men parted the colors of Barcode's world began to gradually lose saturation. After all, just the idea of losing Jeff was enough to drive the boy to tears.

Maybe that was why Jeff's touching words caused his tears to flow. Why did his fears have to poison his time with Jeff now?

Despite the boy's whimpers, Jeff remained as soothing and doting as ever. One hand stroked through Barcode's dark hair while the other massaged slow circles against his lower back.

"The night isn't over yet." Jeff reminded the boy, pressing his lips to the side of his temple.

Barcode nods slightly, slowly regaining his composure.

"You're right," Barcode sighs, leaning back from their embrace to meet Jeff's eyes. "The night isn't over yet."

The smirk on Jeff's lips causes the heat to return to Barcode's stomach as the man shifts beneath him, reminding the young man of the impressive erection between Jeff's legs. Well...that was certainly one way to make him stop crying.

"So..." Jeff hums, "What do you want to do about that?"

"I already told you what I want to do," Code coos back, causing Jeff to release an amused chuckle.

"Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?" Jeff questions softly, stroking his hands down Barcode's body to grip the boy's waist.

The intensity of the man's gaze paired alongside the sensation of his nails grazing his flesh sends a shiver down the boy's spine.

"Yes," Barcode confirms with a groan, "I just...I don't know how to start."

The honest statement earns the boy another firm squeeze of Jeff's hands as he sits up, bringing their faces closer together.

"I'd be more concerned if you did know how to start." The older man admits with a gruff, "Those pretty lips of yours are mine and mine only, do you understand me?"

This time it was Barcode's turn to smirk. He loved seeing how possessive Jeff could get. While he knew it stemmed from the man's protective and caring nature it still amused him.

"What are you smirking about?" Jeff sighs, pressing their foreheads together. "I'm serious."

"I know you are," Barcode sighs happily, "It just feels good to be wanted by you."

"You're always wanted by me," Jeff whispers sternly, tilting the boy's chin to guide their lips together.

Jeff

While the boy's long lashes tickled his cheek Jeff kisses him slowly, choosing to take his time. It was different from the impatience of his previous kiss. This time his tongue carefully explores the cave of the boy's mouth, gliding across the back of his porcelain teeth, over the roof of his mouth, and around his tongue.

Time stood still in precious moments like this.

"Jeff," Barcode whimpers pleadingly against the man's mouth, causing Jeff's eyes to open.

"What is it, Code?" Jeff questions softly, parting their lips to fixate on the boy.

It's only when Barcode shifts against him that he realizes how hard Barcode is himself.
