"Whatever happens, happens" - Spike Spiegel, Cowboy Bebop
Once the lockdown got underway, Josh was stuck at home. Out of boredom, he decided to write into a journal. His first journal entry was on March 24, 2020. The entry read:
March 24, 2020
Man, lockdown is so boring. I think this is the 8th day of quarantine. Man it is so boringggg. I just got off the phone with Kelly and the rest of the gang. It feels weird knowing that it may be awhile before I see them in-person. It's crazy how one day we were all sitting next to one another laughing and now we can't even sit a inch too close or we'll drop dead like wtf. I just finished watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time and man the quote that Spike said in the 'Wild Horses' episode could've hit any more closer to home. The quote goes "Whatever happens, happens". This perfectly describes exactly how I felt at the moment. I was just going with the flow. Hopefully, I'll wake up the next day. Hopefully, the next day will be the day we return to normalcy.

It was now April 24, 2020. Josh's daily life dragged on with moping and boredom as the lockdown continued in the state. Little would he know that things would begin to spice up.
Josh was on his phone, scrolling through his endless news feed on Facebook when a post caught his attention. The post was from his friend, Kelly. The post read:
‼‼LISTEN UP FOLKS‼‼
Fuck the government I stg. These people really think they can shut us down for this long. Our kids are starving. Many people don't have the financial resources left to continue living like this. I understand that COVID is a new virus and all. BUT COME ON NOW! Are we really that afraid of a virus with a 3.4% death rate? Hell, the vIrUs only kills old people anyways. You see, I was always skeptical of this lockdown shit. The government just want to bring about The Great Reset. They want to control us. They want to install dictatorships. I don't know if it's just me, but I am ready to rebel in this bitch. Since they want to shut us down, let's shut their asses down then. Let's meet up and show the fuck out Milwaukee!!
Protest Location @ Washington park
Date: April 26, 2020
Time: 12pm until they reopen us back up
"She's crazy, " said Josh while shaking his head in shock. Josh texted Kelly.
Josh: Bro you are tweaking.
Kelly: Huh? About this protesting shit?!
Josh: yes mf ( abbreviation for 'motherfucker')
Kelly: Hold on. Lemme facetime you!
Kelly facetimes Josh.
"The fuck do you mean I am tweaking, " said Kelly.
"Buddy, did you forget about COVID? People can seriously die from it. It's not the flu. It's---, " said Josh.
"Josh you are so naive. You really trust the government is telling you the truth. Pay attention my friend. Think beyond the box they put us in, " interjected Kelly.
"What?" said Josh.
"Be skeptical of what is being told. Come on Josh, you are literally the smartest person I know. Are you telling me you trust the same government that kill civilians who challenge the status quo? The same government that killed Huey Newton? The same government that literally allow for plenty of people to die from HIV!, " exclaimed Kelly.
"Okay relax! Okay, maybe it's little skeptical that the virus came from a country that won't allow the UN to thoroughly investigate the virus origins. But it still doesn't mean we should do reckless things, " replied Josh.
