"'What will the future hold, Unnie?' Lisa inquired, her voice laced with concern. They sat side by side in the comforting seclusion of Jennie home, peering out into the night beyond the window. Jennie absently fiddled with her fingers, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

'I honestly don't know,' she confessed, her voice hardly more than a whisper, a shadow of her usual vibrant self.

'Have you spoken to him?' Lisa probed further, the care in her voice unmistakable.

'Yes,' Jennie admitted, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear with a wistful sigh.

'What did he say?' Lisa's inquiry was persistent, her gaze fixated on Jennie, willing her to share more.

With a heavy sigh and a swipe at the tear that had escaped her control, Jennie responded. 'He was understanding, even scolded me for being so worried about the rumors.' She tried to keep her voice steady, to portray a semblance of strength.

Jennie had been euphoric following the release of the first episode of 'Idol'. She had been unaware of the storm that was brewing. She had not anticipated that her first acting endeavor would subject her to such a maelstrom of anxiety. Her Instagram feed had become a battleground, flooded with hate comments, just because she had chosen to perform a scene involving a bit of twerking.

She knew the world could be harsh. She was well aware of the risk she was taking by dating Taehyung, yet she had underestimated the vitriol his fans were capable of. The venomous accusations directed at her character were beyond her comprehension. After all, she was merely acting. This wasn't an explicit representation of her real life, but just a role she had been tasked with. It wasn't her – it was art. Yet she found herself on the receiving end of an unanticipated hostility, questioning her choices.

Jennie's voice broke through her sobs, the pain evident in her words. "I'm so angry with myself. Why did I let that man take our picture! You don't understand what will happen to Taehyung. I'm sure everyone will tell him to break up with me, and I'll be left alone," she wept, her fears spilling out into the open.

In response, Lisa moved closer, wrapping Jennie in a comforting embrace. "Hey, hey, no one is going to say anything," she assured her, her voice a calming balm. "Don't you trust Taehyung, Oppa? He's been supportive of you from the very beginning, don't you remember how he would visit you on set during the shoots? Why are you doubting now?" She did her best to soothe Jennie's troubled heart.

Lisa was incensed at the people criticizing Jennie for simply performing her role. There were numerous explicit scenes being enacted on screen, yet people seemed particularly obsessed with Jennie and her career choices.

The mockery had even escalated to personal levels. A known acquaintance had gone so far as to taunt that Taehyung's mother would literally throw Jennie out the next time she was seen. It was clear to Lisa how much jealousy was influencing these cruel jabs.

In that moment, Lisa knew what she needed to do. She gently disentangled herself from Jennie and made her way to the kitchen. Picking up her phone, she composed a message to Taehyung, detailing everything that had transpired. She knew he deserved to know the truth, and hoped he would help Jennie navigate through this challenging time.

After an exhaustive day of rehearsals, Jennie finally returned home. Kuma, her faithful companion, scampered towards her, his tail wagging in joy as he playfully nuzzled her legs.

"Oh, aren't you a cute boy!" Jennie cooed, ruffling Kuma's fur. As she pulled out her phone, a message from Taehyung caught her eye – his mother was on her way over.

A chill ran down Jennie's spine, her skin prickling with cold sweat. Why would his mother be coming? She contemplated calling Taehyung for clarification, but hesitated. He too had a long day and she didn't want to burden him with her worries.

He'd also sent her a brief, sweet note: 'Love you.' The sight of his affectionate words coaxed a soft smile onto her lips.

A quick glance at the time told Jennie that his mother would arrive any moment now. She sprinted to her room, hastily picking out a comfortable outfit before diving into a much-needed shower.

Just as she was about to step out of her room, the doorbell echoed through the house. When she opened the door, she found herself enveloped in a tight hug from Taehyung's mother.

"Jennie-ya, how are you?" The older woman's voice was warm, as she pulled back to place a gentle kiss on Jennie's cheek.

"I'm okay, Omma. How are you?" Jennie responded, her words accompanied by a shy smile.

"Come in, please!" She warmly greeted Taehyung's mother, leading her into the elegant living room.

"Why do you look so pale? Aren't you eating well?" Taehyung's mother inquired, concern etched on her face, as they both settled down.

Jennie straightened her posture, glancing downward. "I am eating, it's just that my schedule has been incredibly tough," she explained, trying to conceal the tears welling up in her eyes.

"Come here," Taehyung's mom said gently, patting the spot beside her.

Jennie hesitated for a moment before sitting beside her. "Yes?"

"Taehyung has told me why you are acting like this," she began, and in the next moment, Jennie found herself embraced tightly. She wept, her tears flowing freely like a vulnerable child.

"I am really worried. I feel like I will be left alone, just like all those times," she voiced her fears.

"Oh, my poor baby, it's not like that. You are stronger than that," Taehyung's mother reassured, holding her close.

"Look at me, Jennie," Taehyung mom urged, gently turning her face towards him.

"You are Jennie. No one has any power over you. They are just assumptions and rumors. Don't you know how far you've come in your career and in your relationship with my son? Do you think I would have let him date you with all the things that people have said about you?" Taehyung's mother stated firmly, to which Jennie could only shake her head.

"You are precious!" She patted Jennie cheeks.

"I am planning my future grandchildren and you. Just relax. Why would I ever throw you out of Taehyung's house?" she added, standing up. "Now, let's go have some fried chicken, and don't tell me you're on a diet."

Jennie chuckled, feeling a renewed sense of comfort and belonging. She moved alongside Taehyung's mother, grateful for the unwavering support and love surrounding her.
