It was now hardly 2 minutes to go for jeonghan and y/n's performance.
y/n : Zenayel, will i do well?
Zenayel : ofcourse you will!
Jeonghan : [in his mind - she is different, instead of asking if she looks fine, she is more concerned about her performance.] alright, it's time for. y/n follow me.
y/n : uh, yeah. Alright, guys imma go now
Joshua and zenayel : you will do great! [while doing the fighting sign]
Miara just rolled her eyes silently at y/n's words before smiling forcefully and turning towards joshua
Miara : josh~ i'm thirsty, let's go get some juice
Joshua : uh- but y/n-
Before he could say anything miara just dragged joshua along with her
Zenayel just stared at them go before turning back to look at y/n and jeonghan performing doin' time guitar version. As soon as the performance ended, the audience clapped, judges smiled. It was probably the loudest clap in the whole event till now. As y/n turned her head at zenayel, while she saw zenayel pass a smile and then she looked up at jeonghan, unexpectedly jeonghan was already looking at her with a soft smile while he nods and mumbles "you did great,y/n." y/n just looked down smiling as they both bowed lightly before leaving the stage.
Zenayel : YOU DID SOOOOO GREAT Y/N!!! [she squeezed y/n in a tight hug]
y/n: thanks zenayel- but let me br-breathe
Zenayel left the hug as she giggled before looking at jeonghan, seeing him frown and seemed like he was searching for someone, she understood who.
Zenayel : he and miara went to get us drinks. They will be back soon. Let's get down and sit among the contestants and get refreshments for ourselves.
y/n nodded as, zenayel took y/n's hand and walked down the backstage while unconsciously y/n hold jeonghan's hand too for them to get down.
As the event went on, judges wrote down their reviews, prizes were arranged, refreshments were given away but joshua and miara were not in traces to be found
y/n : where are they? Jeonghan, can you call joshua once to be back quick, the awards will be given away soon
Jeonghan nodded as he called joshua while he talked on call for hardly a minutes, responding to y/n
Jeonghan : he will be back in a minute
Zenayel just sat down beside y/n, laying her head on y/n's shoulder. Joshua and miara returned as they sat behind the chairs of zenayel,y/n and jeonghan. Before any could speak the host came up
Host : we are so glad to host this event just like the last year and so happy to say this year's event is also considered successful. I will like to thank....[as he continued speaking till the judges were requested to come up and say the results]
Judge : the third place is taken by wanders, second by intentions, and first by...the moonlight!
y/n,zenayel,joshua,jeonghan and miara all stood up happily as they walked up the stage to get their merits. Soon the event was over.
Before all of them were gonna depart
Joshua : guys, i gotta tell ya all something
Jeonghan : go ahead
y/n and zenayel just looked at each other before nodding
Joshua : miara and i are dating from today
y/n smiled dropped while jeonghan's eyes slightly widened, zenayel just sighed before glancing at miara.
