Chapter 8
During the night the same day:
Y/n was studying as she got a call. Quickly picking it up as her parents were sleeping
(On the phone)
Y/n : hello?
Jeonghan : open your window
Y/n: huh? Jeonghan why are you calling this late? It's...(looking at the clock on her wall) 2am.
Jeonghan: I won't repeat the same thing,miss
Y/n : uh wait-
She walked towards her window as she swiped aside the window, getting startled by a steel ladder. Looking down the window she saw jeonghan and joshua smiling up at her. Y/n was confused as she indicated them to come up.
Both of them climbed up the stairs as Joshua plopped on her fluffy bed while jeonghan sat on her study chair.
Joshua : damn you're studying this late?
Jeonghan: didn't I tell you that she would be studying till 4am? Hence we would come to accompany her?
Joshua : yeah yeah
Y/n just listened to their talk as she smiled realising why they come this late to meet her.
Y/n: let me get you both something to drink
She smiled as she left silently to get something for them, making sure not to make any noise as she went to the kitchen.
On the other hand jeonghan looked at her notebook which was neatly organized with notes.
Jeonghan : she..studies well.
Joshua: hm she is indeed smart af.
In the kitchen
Y/n slowly opened her refrigerator to get 2 bottles of Gatorade for them to drink. While suddenly she heard footsteps to the kitchen, she quickly took those bottles as she hastily rushed to her room. Closing the door
Y/n: you both, hide quick!!
Joshua: why- (before he could say anything jeonghan shut his mouth by his palm as he dragged Joshua to the wardrobe to hide, knowing what could be the possible reason) y/n sat on her study chair as she pretended to study, hiding the 2 bottles in her drawer as her room's door opened.
Mrs Lee: studying? Good. Study and sleep soon. If you want some food or coffee, they are in the fridge. Don't sleep before 4am alright?
Y/n just Hummed as her mom left. After few minutes both of the boys came out of the wardrobe
Joshua : TILL 4AM!? Girl when will you slee-
Y/n : shhhhh. Tone down Joshua.
Jeonghan : stop studying for now. Just sleep.
Y/n : I can't. By the way where is Zenayel?
Joshua : I don't know, I thought Jeonghan had pick her up too?
Jeonghan : she wasn't at home. She had some work. (Spoke blandly)
Joshua : work this late?
Jeonghan realised what he spoke before biting on his tongue
Jeonghan : uh yeah, her parents were arriving from airport so she went to meet them ( since Zenayel was executing her plan to somehow get a proof against Miara)
Y/n : oh.. well here the drinks.
Both of the boys thanked her as they all sat, talking quietly as well as y/n was completing her work. Soon it was 4am.
Ringing of her stop watch, she smiled.
Y/n : thank for accompanying me.
Joshua : thank this idiot. He was the one to suggest
Jeonghan : who did you call idiot, you stupid. Well we will head off now. We will try to come 3 times a week to accompany you okay?
Y/n: uh no need. Don't be in haste.
Joshua : it's fine, we had fun talking. Plus you're smart so maybe you can teach us something next time since tests are coming soon.
Jeonghan : true, alright then we will go now. Take care.
Joshua : yeah take care( he smiled as he ruffled her hair gently giving some butterflies again to y/n)
Climbing down the ladder they went off to their home while y/n just sat on her bed
Y/n : (in her mind- gosh...control y/n, Joshua is taken.Hm now sleep, need to get up in 2 hours) she sighed as she went off to sleep.
What was the plan Zenayel executing? Why did jeonghan decided to visit her?
