Jisung flopped on his bed the second he came home. Having seen Felix earlier and was clearly distressed. That being said the quokka started to reflect on the past few weeks. There were finals coming in about two weeks and once those were done, they'd be gone for educational break until September. Not that it would matter much for Jisung and Felix as a week after coming back, they'd have to do the systems blood test and be sent away again to serve a vampire. It was the one thing Jisung was trying not too look back on or think about especially since it meant having to leave everyone behind.
Another thing on his mind still was Minho. He realised the past few weeks of meeting the other that he'd grown to like him. And not that he didn't like that, it was simply something he feared for when he'd have to leave. How would they manage keeping in contact except for messaging or calling? Jisung didn't know about Minho, but for him being away from those close to him makes him feel worse. Especially if he's comfortable around the other. Him and Minho became much closer due during the past month since they'd met, messaging on phone and meeting after or before work shifts whenever they could make time.
He grown to trust Minho, and Minho seemingly the same with him. Jisung invited Minho round his house once to meet Bbama and his parents, being his sibling had left to work in another District, though his sibling probably would be back to celebrate his birthday. The Quokka sighed and rolled in his bed thinking. What was he going to do?
He was now understanding Felix's struggle even more now when Felix was feeling the same over Changbin.
Jisung was soon realising himself to be finding these feelings for Minho and had no clue how to cope. He clutched his legs in his hands on the bed and reached for his phone to check messages. He wondered whether to message the other or not. It was late. Han checked the time.
12am. Just turned midnight.
Who was he kidding? As if Minho would reply at this time of all hours. I mean there was the possibility, thus highly unlikely. He sighed and turned over again still looking at his phone. Jisung would fall asleep but equally he didn't know if he could for he was too awake to feel tired. He closed his eyes hearing the silence. It was peaceful with the slight thud of his window unlatching as the gentle breeze from outside flowed in.
Wait- Breeze? Jisung had shut his window. He always kept it closed to not risk any rogue vampires coming in through the night. Especially since you never know what could happen in the late night throughout the lower districts. The Quokka instantly got up to see his window was opened and wind was gently coming in. He rose on guard as he looked around his room wondering if anyone had entered. He searched and checked every corner best to his ability not being able to find a thing. For his window couldn't simply have opened by chance.
"Who's there?! Show yourself!!" He said as if to threaten the empty space surrounding him in his bedroom.
If he spun around he'd be able to see the slightly older slowly approach from behind and cover Jisung's eyes with his eyes. The older male now behind Jisung leaned closed and spoke "Boo" causing Han to jump and leap in the air in shock, removing the other's hands and spinning around to see Minho making him sigh in relief. "Minho what the hell?! I thought you were a vampire coming to attack me!"
Jisung gulped as Minho slightly laughed but then put his hands gently on Jisung's shoulders to apologise realising his mistake.
"I'm sorry I scared you- I just wanted to surprise you" Minho said nervously. "I couldn't sleep and wanted to see you so- Sorry if I intruded I didn't know where else to go"
Jisung looked at the other sincerely and hugged him. "I'd never turn you away, no matter what Min" he spoke softly as Minho returned the hug smiling. And there the two were hugging, at midnight. In the dead of night. Jisung didn't know what to feel. He was surprised he had arrived the second he was wondering whether to message.
