1. New Meetings

All Jisung ever knew was the world which was reigned by Vampires. Despicable beings which fed on humankind and ruled over them as better. To them humans were insects. Pathetic little beings to prey upon and use for a manner of different ways. Centuries ago when mankind was at a downfall, vampires took that to their advantage and come out in power, revealing their true selves having hid amongst humans for too long. It was a disastrous event. A war which was from the very start disadvantageous towards the humans. That is how they came to power. Came to take and destroy lives and fuel the world for their own greed.

There were 4 categories of vampires to quote.

Rogue vampires, ones who were somehow transformed when bitten by a pureblood or noble vampire and rage uncontrollably, killing their victims with no emotion or soul of humanity left within them. A disappointing sight to the upper class vampires, equally amusing to watch the chaos. But a threat and unimaginable sight to humans which prey upon them with no remorse.

Half blood vampires or more normally known as "normal", those turned by purebloods or nobles through the act of sucking and drinking from one another. If you think that simply biting a human would turn them like a disease said by myth. How wrong you are, for humans majority of the time can only turn into a vampire through being bitten and equally drinking the blood of a vampire of higher status. But in doing so there's the cost of obedience and having to submit to the dear one who turned you. Whether out of choice or not and would be equivalent to the majority of "middle" and "lower" class human stages of ranks. Though only applies to purebloods, for noble's aren't so lucky to be able to fully command and control those who they turn.

Noble vampires, the instance where a vampire is born without having been turned intentionally, birthed from a human mother, the rare instance and occasion, some say it a curse, others respectful as it proves you were destined for the life of grace and desire which is the forefront show to put on and hide the true facade that is vampiric nature. These nobles make up those of lords and ladies if their status were the equal of humankind rankings. Some ancient. Some not.

And lastly the worst type.

Purebloods. Those which were the originals. The ancients. Those who brought the "curse" on humanity which became the creature known as vampires. No one knows how they came to be or how they were born, some ancient, some younger. All treated like Kings and Queens. Emperors and Empresses. Respected by everyone and anyone. No matter who you were. Equally said to be the most dangerous if you encountered one, for how they devour their prey may look pretty, but attacks in the most dreadful ways possible. Those survived and turned by them, become linked to them by blood, one disloyal act and you would be killed in many ways thought to be impossible.

What's worse? Purebloods being born as ancient holy beings in the vampire species are granted with powers to use at their will. For each it's different but all unique in their own way. On top of that, they can hide in plain sight, and disguise themselves as humans.

Some would wonder why? For being treated as best as they could possibly imagine, having many at their disposal, why still hide in plain sight? Some for amusement, others to attack on their prey for fun, without having to request those lower to capture the hunt for them. For the thrill of it. Only those who encounter a pureblood would truly know the reason. That said, not that one would be able to figure it out anyways, many have tried. Many still have no clue.

Vampires reign over the earth, like how a royal family would in those ancient times before the downfall of humanity. To keep everything in check they've placed systems to categorise humans based on blood type and how they fair when it comes to food tastes. At the age of 20 humans are tested and sent to a certain district based on their blood results and to better check for when the lowly creatures would want to feed. In the meantime the children growing up stay with their parents till they come of age. Knowing any one of them would grow up to be food for a unworldly being.
