Changbin was currently residing in his new room. After he turned 20 nearly a year back, he was moved to District 3, and stationed to serve Mr Hwang. So far it wasn't the worse considering what he's heard. The guy is certainly somewhat of a troublemaker, plus flirtatious with nearly every person both vampire or human he'd met. He'd go round to bar's and clubs all over. Either to lure people for his desires and keep as a distraction to help lift his mood, or just for the fun of it. Once, Mr Hwang even put himself on Changbin, in which it ended up with Changbin having to take care of the heartbroken male after he was rejected. Let's just say it was an eventful job to take care of him. The vampire had been overreacting and dramatising the whole situation. It was more like taking care of a teenager than a noble vampire.

But after knowing him for a year, that wasn't all that meets the eye.

Mr Hwang was one of a kind, despite being a noble, one could easily think he was a pureblood vampire. He was knowledgeable enough, had the perfect gracefulness, and was somehow able to gain his own unique power at will. One thing which many nobles did not have and was common in almost every pureblood instead. Hence why some would believe he was such. Being he was born a vampire from humankind he was considered a special noble instead named 'The Prince'. Therefore was treated much more respectably than others.

After knowing and serving him, having to be his current human assistant amongst other things, Changbin noticed Hyunjin uses his flirtatious appearance as a facade. To hide the real feelings and thoughts behind that beautiful face of his. He wasn't sure why as they weren't considered close in Changbin's view. To Hwang Hyunjin he was merely his personal human assistant which had replaced the last. We won't go into detail what happened to his past one. We'll simply say things didn't entirely end very well for him.

But Changbin didn't know the true reason, simply that he hides his true self. Hwang Hyunjin had three looks as they say. 1. His flirtatious, dramatic ass and confident side which most people knew and was obvious at first glance.

2. His serious side, this side of his personality was also well known to people, just that people knew him more as a flirt as well. It was like a joint two in one duo personality. Of course everyone got angry at some point in their lives. But with vampires it was another story. The more cold and demanding you were, the more powerful you seemed, plus with confidence. Hwang Hyunjin was no different in this sense. He just liked to be a tad bit extra and flirt in the process. But you shouldn't let his flirtatious and fun side fool you. One wrong move and he could attach your body on a spike in a quick second with no remorse. It was a serious offence in many's view. Not one to be taken lightly.

When it came to such serious topics in work or business he'd often be calculative and spectating his surroundings to be on guard. One reason why his reputation is so high and how he won a seat to be part of the High Council was earned through this endearing personality. He was a trustable specimen and gained respect over many, even if they thought he was too loose and easygoing at first.

And lastly, 3. his peaceful true side to him. No one's truly seen this side to him except his close friends, select few trusted servants and his dog especially. He hid his emotions so well even those close to him wouldn't know truly anything. For he kept so much in for so long, at this rate he considered Kkami is one true love and friend. Not that he didn't trust his close friends, he just didn't want to put all his emotions out and bother them, despite the fact it was once rumoured he cries easily. Not that anyone's seen, so was discarded as false a century ago. Though some still ponder on it.

Not even Changbin saw it, not like he would anyway as he was only new about less than a year in the job. He'd learn to adapt to new environments, but he did admit he missed his home District 9. All the friends he made there. Especially since he in the end couldn't sort out his true feelings with Felix, at first it was simply a friendship like with Jisung. Now he was worried it may be much more. But it was too late now. They were districts apart and in a few months Felix would leave to work somewhere else. Most likely not even close to the Hwang Residence or even in District 3 at all. They would be strangers in about a year's time if they weren't already. Maybe it was for the best, and weren't meant to be. For being human and serving a vampire master while loving another was complicated. Though people still found love and potential hope in things which had been lost to the blood-sucking creatures.
