Hyunjin was currently in Chan's office as he waltzed in and plopped himself comfortably on the sofa as Chan just blinked and stared at the other. Hyunjin in return just raised an eye and glared at the other, giving him a side eye. "What?" Hyun asks Chan who just sighs as he begins to explain.
"You said you'd arrive yesterday afternoon, but didn't send me even one message or note to say you arrived safely" Chan said in which Hyunjin just stared at the other like he was idiot.
"And for what reason would I not arrive all fine? Plus I decided to look around the District considering last I visited was uhh" Hyunjin said as he started counting with his fingers making Chan facepalm "16 years ago" he ended the sentence as Chan just blinked again.
"You needed to count 16 years as if you haven't been alive for much more than that?" Bangchan simply commented with earning a sincere smiley nod from the handsome man sat near him.
"My human servant showed me that cool infamous bar and restuarant place? You know like the only good one in this district?" Jinnie said in which Chan nodded "Yep I know that one, I've been there like once or twice".
"And you've been here for like what? A month already?" Hyunjin looked at the other in disbelief as Chan looked back. "Yeah maybe I wouldn't have been here so long if someone had decided to come to District 9 straight instead of make too many sidestops during the journey? Are you trying to sightsee the whole of Korea or something?".
Hyunjin pouted "What? There were too many nice places to visit, plus piqued my interest for more painting ideas, I had too" he replied as Chan sighed and went to carry on his work as he started side talking about other topics to change the subject. But Hyunjin had already stopped listening.
He thought about how he arrived yesterday and saw the blonde freckled boy who was so keen on finding Changbin despite also having seen Hyunjin. It was definitely a sight he'd never experienced before. Not that he'd cared much when people would approach him. But that's the thing. Many always approached him for his good looks, or to praise him whatnot. Even if they did know a staffmember or meet one, they'd still want to talk to Hyunjin.
This boy was clearly different. And Hyunjin knew he couldn't do anything about it except simply wait. Hyunjin wasn't one to want to force things from others either. Unless, without reason. He sighed as he thought back to a moment years ago, to when vampirekind were still in hiding and were beginning to rebuild themselves anew to claim power. A very special day when he was gifted "The Prince" title. At first naturally Hyunjin was incredibly shocked and happy to be honoured with it.
But now he believes he doesn't deserve such a title. Especially since the once tragic event which cost him nearly everything he truly loved in his life.
'The raven haired male was on the beach he once so loved, gazing upon the moving waves as they shifted to and fro across the seafront. The dim moonlight shining perfectly, at the right amount across the vast sea. And the peaceful sounds of surrounding nature clashing against the oceans earnest sounds. He was smiling. He was in a meeting with the High Council as of recently and had been gifted a title which many had thought would've been lost for years.
There was a prophecy, that one simple noble would be granted the power and ability to suffice as a pureblood, potentially greater. And Hyunjin for being one with both grace, phisique and the special gifts which nobles would not have but rather purebloods, the High Council dedicated the role to him, almost certain they had found the special prince. It was not a title to be taken lightly. A great one at that. Hyunjin had been part of the High Council for a few years of his current life and didn't have any specific position. Until now that was.
The beautiful male was lost in his thoughts, admiring the view as he heard some soft pats of sand slowly grow louder as he turned and saw the one other he had grown to care about run up and hug him in a tight embrace all happily. "Jinnie I heard the news from Chan! Congrats I'm so proud of you, you deserve the title" he spoke as he then looked up at Hyunjin, in which the taller smiled back.
