Y/N GRABBED ALL her things out of her locker, closing it shut. "Hey, wait up!" A voice said behind her. She turned around to see the brunette haired girl she met earlier.
"Oh, hey Gwen. What's up?" Y/n asks the brunette in front of her. "I just wanted to give you this!" Gwen says handing y/n a tiny crumpled up piece of paper.
"It's my number! I just thought you were really cool and funny earlier and decided to give you my phone number so we can talk and get to know each other more!" Gwen says. Y/n opened the crumpled piece of paper.
Call me! 313******* - gwen :)
Y/n smiled down at the note before looking up at Gwen. "I'll call you as soon as I get home." Y/n says putting the note in her back pocket, keeping her eyes on Gwen with a smile on her face.
That smile on Y/n's face made Gwen cheeks really warm. Gwen ignored the feeling and smiled back at Y/n. "Well, I'll see you later." Y/n says putting her hand in her back pocket.
Gwen watched as Y/n left the school building, a smile appearing on her face. What was this feeling? Gwen wondered.
Y/N CLOSED THE door behind her as she walked through her home. "How was your first day of school?" M/n asks the h/c haired girl. "It was good!" Y/n says setting her bag on the couch.
M/n nodded at her response. "I did some unboxing while you were gone. I also decorated your new room." M/n says with a smirk on her face. Y/n looks at her mom with wide eyes surprised.
"Come on, I'll lead you too it." M/n says gesturing her hand to follow her upstairs. M/n stopped at a door with a sign on it, Y/n's name on it in cursive writing.
M/n slowly opened the door, Y/n widening her eyes in surprise and excitement. Y/n looked around the room with a big smile plastered on her face.
There were posters on her wall of her favorite celebrity's and bands, a flower themed rug on the floor next to her bed, her bed neatly done with f/c sheets, flowers on her nightstand, fluffy pillows, a vanity, and lots of other cool stuff she loved. the last thing she noticed was a phone on her nightstand.
She thought of Gwen as she saw it. "Shit." She said under her breath. "What was that?" M/n asks. Y/n's eyes widen. "I said, nice! It's really nice, mom. But, could you give me a minute to admire all this stuff." Y/n says with a convincing fake smile on her face.
M/n looked at the e/c eyed girl suspiciously before leaving the room, closing the door. Y/n sighed in relief, rushing over to the phone getting the number out of her back pocket. She typed in the phone number nervously biting her nails.
She walked around the room anxiously overthinking. She was finna hangup losing hope until a deep voice finally answered. "Hello?" The voice says. Y/n eyes widen in excitement.
"Umm hi!" Y/n says awkwardly, her voice cracking. "Who's this?" The deep voice asks. She realizes it's not Gwen and panics a bit. "Umm are you familiar with Gwen blake?" Y/n asks nervously.
"Yes, she's my daughter. Who are you?" The voice asks, annoyance in his voice. "Oh! I'm one of Gwen's good friends from school! We're supposed to be working on the homework together." Y/n lies.
The voice huffs in annoyance before yelling. "GWEN! TELEPHONE!" A few minutes later, the voice y/n recognizes from school comes to the phone. "Hello?" Gwen says. "Hi Gwen! It's me, Y/n." Y/n says.
"Oh! Hi Y/n. I was waiting for you to call me!" Gwen says giggling through the phone. "Yeah, umm. So, you wanted to talk?" Y/n says in a more questioning tone.
"Oh, yeah! I wanna get to know you more. If you don't mind!" Gwen says. "I don't mind at all! You can ask me anything."
"Ok, good! So umm. What's your favorite song?" Gwen asks. "F/s most definitely!" Gwen gasps over the phone. "I love that song also!" Both of the girls giggled.
They talked all night long forgetting about the time. Eventually Gwen had to go since her dad didn't want her to be on the phone all night.
The girls both knew they would get along instantly.
