(Naruto's POV)

As light danced through the blinds, shining brightly through my closed eye lids causing me to whimper and pull the covers over my head, peacefully drifting back to sleep. Wait. When did I get in be-oh. It all came back to me then. Not feeling like moving from the warmth of the blankets, I snuggled deeper underneath them, until the sound of chuckling made me still. Slowly pulling the blanket down just enough for me to peek around the large room. Not seeing anything I retreated back underneath the blanket getting comfortable and closing my eyes again only to hear the sound of loud laughter. "Aww, and here we thought you'd be happy to see us and all our glory and here you are sleeping in our parents room not even sparing us a second of your time." A voice I was becoming familiar with said. Not even given the chance to respond, the blankets were torn off of me leaving me shivering. "Stupid little fox cubs, always bothering me. So rude." I mumbled as I shifted around and curled into a fetus position. Opening my eyes to send a glare at the two now standing over me wearing similar smug smirks. Smug bastards I'll show them. Growling lowly, I sat up, grabbing a pillow, and launched myself at the two of them, beating them mercilessly until they apologized for the rude awakening. "Hmpf that's what you get." I said while standing up and stretching. Both of them got up snickering causing me to roll my eyes. "In all fairness we had never seen you without your mask and you looked so cute letting out those small snores." Menma said with a teasing smirk one his face. "Yeah, don't blame us. Your just so cute without your mask puppy dog. Just so adorable.~" Karma added with a matching smirk. I felt my face get warm and instantly looked away from both of them while cursing them both and mumbling how they were both stupid and creepy for watching me sleep which they both laughed at.

Once again I rolled my eyes and asked, "Does the parentals know you two or up here or did you two sneak away to bother me?" They shared a look and answered in sync, "The second one of course!" I huffed at their proud smiles and looked around for my mask and shoes as Menma began to speak again. "I accept hugs and ramen as a sign of thanks so pay up pup." Finding my shoes near the door I slipped them on and scoffed trying to hide my smile as I looked at him. "I accept hugs and forehead kisses as payment so come on puppy dog." Karma said with a teasing smile and challenging eyes while wiggling his eyebrows at me. I felt my face heat up again and walked up to a laughing Menma wrapping my arms around his middle, giving him a hug while hiding my flushed face in his chest, causing the hug to last for a while. I pulled back not, meeting his eye due to my face still feeling a little warm. He must have noticed because he began to chuckle and pat my head causing my ears to twitch as his fingers brushed them gently. As I looked up at him, I noticed his face become a little pink due to how close we were standing making me smirk and tease him like Karma had done to me. "Mā mā men-men-kun, are you blushing? How cute." I playfully batted my eyes at him causing him to playfully shove me away and tell me to shut up while chuckling before responding. "Me? Fall for you? I think you got the wrong twin pup. But you'd definitely fall for me before I fall for you." I laughed a little as he sent me charming smile and winked at me. I turned to Karma who was watching us with amusement and moved towards him, standing on my tippy toes and wrapping my arms around his shoulders. I felt his hands go around my waist and pull me closer. I pulled away slightly and gave him a quick peck on his forehead before pulling away quickly while looking at a flustered Karma then blushed and turned to continue my search for my mask and was about to speak when the door suddenly opened. "You boys didn't wake him did you?" We all looked at the door seeing Kushina standing there with a smile and irk mark and everyone else behind her. Not really wanting the twins to get in trouble, I spoke. "No Aunt Shina, I was already awake before they came to check on me." I instantly froze. Did i just-. Before I could even finish the thought, I was brought into a bone crushing hug. "Aww you called me aunt shina! I love it! I won't answer to anything else ya know!" In that moment I couldn't help but giggle and hug her just as tight feeling so much relief.

I looked over her shoulder seeing papa being held from behind by tou-san and gave them both my biggest smile before giggling again. When Aunt Shina released me I instantly ran to Papa who was also released and scooped me up and kissed me all over my face causing me to giggle again which made him coo. "Look at your pretty smile Naru. So pretty. Promise papa that when your around us you'll leave your mask off ok?" I looked at him and nodded and hugged him and waved at tou-san and the others who were watching us which made them all coo. Once I was put back down, the twins instantly were at my side throwing their arms over my shoulder and looking down at me with matching smiles causing me to giggle and wrap my arms around their waist. We all heard a click and looked up to see everyone had taken a picture. "Come on boys, its lunch time and we wanted to talk to you three about something important." I gave the ywins a look only for them to shrug and grab my hands while pulling me out of the room and into the dining room. Huffing as they let me go I sent them both a playful glare. "You both do realize I can walk on my own if I want to and that you both are two inches taller than me so your stride is longer than mine. I do NOT enjoy being dragged like a ragdoll. Do it again and you'll be missing a couple of fingers maybe even a hand." I said giving them a eye smile and head tilt. I felt a hand on my head and looked up to see tou-san and papa chuckling and shaking their heads. I took the seat in between them too and we began to eat.

After eating, tou-san turned to me with a serious look which made me nervous and fidgety. "Pup, me and your papa were wondering how you'd feel about starting the Academy a year early? You'd be in your papa's class and you'll be with the twins and one step closer to becoming a ninja. We're not trying to rush you into anything especially knowing you're not good around people but this should help. What do you say wanna give it a try? If not we can wait til next year when you turn seven." I looked up at him then down again contemplating for a while. Weighing the pros and cons before signing and nodding before speaking in a small voice. "I-i'll try." I felt papa rub my back and leaned into it. "You're such a brave boy sweetheart I'm so proud. Don't worry I'll be with you the whole time alright? I promise." I leaned further into his touch and nodded only to look up again when Aunt Shina began to speak. "This is where you two come in. I want you boys to look out for each other. Stick together and protect each other always. Especially little Naru with you. Their will be people after him." After she said that, tou-san began to tell them about my mother and my abilities and some things about our eyes being special like the Uchiha clans but different and about the Senju blood in me. Bothe twins swore to look after me like they do each other and I swore to look out for the both of them. And just like that, an unbreakable promise was made. After that day, we were always together. Whether we were training, pranking, laying around at each others house, having lessons with papa to help me catch up to the other students, or playing in the forest of death, you never saw one of us without the other two. Two months flew by before we knew it and tomorrow I would be joining the Academy. As I lay down that Sunday night, I looked at the picture of my mom. Here I come Academy, watch me mom, papa, tou-san, I'll do my best. I promise.
