Ch.19

*Quinn Pov*

We talked for a while and couldn't help but gaze into his eyes, there so memorizing.

"Quinn? QUINN!" Alex snaps me out of my zoned out state.

"Yeah?" I ask.

Alex smiled and my heart smiled. "I asked if you wanted to sleep over?" I was shocked, I have never really had friends, so this was exciting and never racking, but I nodded my head.

"Sure, better than being with my dad," I say in a joking tone, but Alex's face fills with pain, and lunches over and hugs me, I was so startled it took a second that this super cute boy was hugging me, I hugged him back. Eventually we separated, I rubbed the back of my neck and let out a shaky breath, " So um.." I don't know what to say and I feel like I might just die of embarrassment. Just then Alex's dad walks in, reveling me of having to say anything.

"I'm gunna head out and i'll be back soon." 

"Wait dad," Alex says stopping his dad from closing the door and leaving, "can Quinn stay the night?"

Alex's dad sighed and smiled, but his eyes were filled with pain and grief but love for his son. " Of course, i'll be back later." He closed the door and left.

"Woop de fucking do" Alex said which made both me and Alex crack up, Alex stopped and looked at me with happiness and confusion in his face.

"What?" I ask still recovering from the hit of laughter.

"I've never seen you this happy." Alex said with a dazed face.

"Oh.. Is that bad?" I ask, and start fiddling with my hair.

"No, of course not, it's amazing," Alex said lightly touching my hand and slowly pulling it away from my hair, I could help if I went deep red or not, we were so close I could feel his breath, then in a millisecond I did the unthinkable I kissed him resting my hand on Alex's cheek. After a while we pulled away. "You're super cute," said Alex in a hushed wispier, if my face could it went into an even deeper red.

"You're hot," I blurted out. I pull away and shove my head into my hands, "DAMN IT!" I scream into my hands, I look up expecting to see Alex with a disgusted face and to tell him to leave his house and never return. But I look up and see Alex smiling, his face was red.

"I'm glad," He said obviously holding back his laughter.

"I like you, like a lot," I said like it was new news.

"WOW!" Alex said sarcastically, "I could have never guessed, we haven't kissed more than once, and totally didn't just call me hot, nope couldn't have guessed."

"Oh shut up pretty boy," I say cracking a smile.

"Pretty boy?" Alex said laughing. I leaned in again, "I think you're hot too," said Alex and soon we were kissing again. 

"So..." I started, "Are we dating?" I asked.

"Yes, I mean if you want to," Said Alex.

"Yes.

"Yes." I finished. And we started to kiss again.
