*Quinn Pov*
It felt like something had overcome me. A dark entity had entered my body I was trapped in a pit of cold, icy nothingness. Pitch black all around if I stayed there too long I'd go insane. Finally it left my body, and I was out of energy, I hunched over catching my breath, after a few minuets I look up to see Alex bloody, it shook me to my core, I think you could see the shear horror in my face. Then I ran to his aid.
"Are you okay? Alex? Can you hear me?" I asked/pleaded my voice laced with panic.
"I'm fine." Alex said weakly, I took off my jacket and wrapped it around his head. And I picked Alex up and then he took off running to his house. I'd never been this scared in my life ever, and a lot of scary shit has happened to me. Alex was lighter than I thought he was, that scared me even more. Was this because of his blood loss? I wonder, which made me panic even more and run faster. Soon I made it to Alex's back yard, and I ran into his house.
"HELP!" I yelled, I was out of breath but I managed to yell loud enough so Alex's dad could hear me.
"What wrong-" He stopped his sentence abruptly, "what happene-" I cut him off this time.
"Can't." Alex murmured.
"Call 911!" I yelled, but his dad was already, I set Alex down and grabbed some wet towels and held it to Alex's wounds.
"Yes my son is bleeding a lot, he's losing a LOT of blood, Yes ****st and ****, Please hurry he doesn't have a lot of time left." He hung up the phone and helped me with he towels. "What happened?"
"I can barely remember," I say trying to make something up, "I think it was an animal, it pushed me to the ground and I don't remember the rest." I said hoping it would convince Alex's dad, he nodded not asking any further questions which was great, but it also gave me the vibe he didn't believe me, which made me internally panic even more.
"You did good," He said not looking up from Alex. I look at him confused. "You pretty much kept you calm and you knew what to do to help the flow of blood."
"Thanks, but I was panicking and still am," I say letting out a breathy laugh.
"I would be surprised and honestly kinda worried if you weren't," He said with a sad smile. there was bang on the door, I got up and walked to the door and safely opened the door.
"Medics where is he?" Asked the medic I led him to where Alex was, he was unconscious. Another medic came in with a stretcher and they carefully put Alex on it. I hopped into the ambulance.
"I'll follow in my car," Alex's dad had said. And like he said he followed the ambulance the best he could to the hospital. Alex went into emergency surgery. Alex's dad showed up a few minutes after we got here.
"He went into emergency sugary," I say my voice breaking.
"He'll be okay," Alex's dad tried to make me feel better, 10 dad points to him, I liked his effort, but I knew that Alex would most likely die. The thought made me start to cry. I wiped my tears. "I'm gonna let Taylor know what's happening," I said as an excuse to leave his dad's presence, for some reason being by him made me feel even worse. He had just lost his wife not even a year ago, now his son might die. The poor man.
