Y/n POV:

After school, I was hanging out with Marcus in his room, but I got up from his bed, only to be pulled back down next to him.

"Marcus" I whined. "I have to go to Maxine's room. I promised her that we would hang out."

Marcus sighed and let go. "Fine fine. Promise to be back." He said

"Yes, I promise." I giggled and smiled, pecked his lips and got up.

"I love you." I told him.

"I love you too" He smiled. I smiled back at him and left his room. I walked in Maxine's room and saw her and Ginny.

Maxine saw me and got out of the bed immediately and hugged me. I hugged her back, smiling.

"I missed you" She said, which caused me to laugh a bit.

"But we just saw each other a few hours ago." I told her.

"I know, but it felt like eternity" She said.

Ginny was looking at us and coughed a bit.

"Oh! Ginny. This is my best friend Y/n. Y/n, this is Ginny, she's in our AP class, she sits in front of you, she's my best friend now, second to you of course." Max said.

I giggled a bit and walked to Ginny, holding my hand out for her. "Hi Ginny. It's so nice to meet you, hope we get along well." I told her, smiling.

Ginny shock my hand and nod. "It's nice to meet you as well Y/n. I do hope we get along as well." Ginny said.

I let go of her hand and went sat on Max's bed, taking out my computer and doing work from my class.

"So, how are you liking Wellsbury? Is it paradise?" I asked, trying to make a conversation.

"It's weird." Ginny replied making me nod.

"I'm supposed to subtly and casually ask you if you have a boyfriend? Hunter wants to know." Max asked. Making me curious, moving my laptop to the side, getting interested to the conversation.

"Oh, uh... No, I don't. I've never had a boyfriend. I've never even kissed a guy. We move a lot, so I'm always the new girl." Ginny said.

"Damn, that must be awful" I said which caused Maxine to be shocked.

"Or potentially thrilling. Like, you can utterly change your personality." Max said.

"You'd get along with my mother." Ginny replied.

"I'd love to get along with your mother. God, she's so banging." Max said.

"Wait, you met her mother?" I asked.

"No, but I saw her, she was so fucking hot keep up with the conversation, but you should have seen her Y/n." Max said.

"Ah! Well, welcome to the opinion of everyone who's ever met Georgia." Ginny said. I was a bit confused as to why she said that.

"Georgia." Max said. "And you're Virginia?"

"My brother's Austin. My mom named us after the places we were born." Ginny said.

"Poetic." Max said like she was in love.

"I just can't believe she was with that guy today. She always does this. She moves us around, and she meets a guy, they break up, so we have to move again. Or she meets a guy,and we have to move to go be with him. It's always about a fricking guy!" Ginny said pissed.
