MAXINE SAW THE TEXT MASSAGES. WILL SHE TELL YOU, MARCUS'S GIRLFRIEND??

Y/n POV: 

I'm eating breakfast with the Bakers and my dad. We are having a conversation. I was actually happy with what has been going on lately.

Marcus has been more affectionate, I don't mind it at all but he kept wanting to tell me something but changes the subject. I'm not going to think to much into it if it's hard to bring it up. 

I finished eating my breakfast. I took my plate to the sink and washed it. I was about to walk back to Marcus's room but I was pulled to the side by Maxine. 

"Y/n. We are going to ignore Ginny at school." Maxine said.

"Why? Did she do something horribly wrong?" I asked her.

"Yeah. She did. And I don't want to say anything now and get everything all mixed and fuck everything up but just ignore her." She said.

"I'm confused. Why not tell me now?" I asked.

"Because there are parts of what I found out and it's a bit complicated for me to explain. I'm pissed at Ginny and You should be too, but there is some details that aren't that easy to understand." Maxine explained...kinda. 

I nodded at her. "Alright. I'll ignore her. But when will I be told what happened?" I asked.

"I don't know, when she confesses that she's actually cheating on Hunter." Maxine says.

"Woah. Woah. She's cheating on Hunter?!" I asked.

"Yeah. And she's acted like our friend when she's ruining something so wonderful." Maxine says.

"Holy shit. Wow. Okay." I said. 

"Yeah. Now come on. We have to go to school. Hopefully it will be okay." Maxine said.

Maxine started walking to her room as I walk with her.

"Yeah. But are you excited for your big play? You're going to a huge star." I told her.

"I am ready for anything! expect for the break up. But this is huge. I have to focus on my play." Maxine said.

"Yes. Yes you do. But, a break up is always hard. I'm always here for you, you know." I said.

Maxine nodded. "I know, and I 'm glad you will be." She said.

I smiled and brought her into a hug. She hugged me back and smiled.

We walked into her room and help each other in our outfits. 

Once we were done changing, we went downstairs to see my dad waiting for us in the car to drive us to school.

I'm standing around with MANG except the G isn't here and we're all mad and disappointed in her. Norah and Abby were looking at me weird when Ginny walked in school grounds. 

I feel like there's a part where Max has left out and all I can think about is that it had to do something with Marcus since what happened last time in Marcus's bedroom with Ginny and Padma. 

"Hey, guys!" Ginny called out to us.

We all looked at her and looked away, going back to our previous conversation we were having. 

"Hey, I waited for you at berry tree." Ginny said. 

I still kept avoiding eye contact.

"Oh, ha ha!" Ginny said. "Avoid eye contact. Don't sit with her. I get it."
