I awoke in the early hours the next day feeling completely refreshed then it hit me about what happened last night. I squeezed my eyes shut to stop the oncoming tears when there was a light knock on the door. I groggily got up , not because I was tired but because I didn't want to face the day.

I opened  the door to see a tall skinny ghoul.

"Rain?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Phantom." He answered. "I'm a new summon. Papa told me to come get you and bring you to the dens. He said something about having you not be seen." He rambled out.

"I'll follow you in a sec, lemme get some shoes." I walked over to the bathroom and looked at the bloody clothes on the floor to find my shoes. I quickly put them on and got a quick glance at myself in the mirror. My wings were stuck under the shirt and I looked like I had just gotten picked up from a sleepover.

I then walked out to see the ghoul standing further into my room just looking around then he saw me and froze.

   "Oh, urm, sorry."

I shook my head. "Don't worry about it."

I followed him down to the dens when I heard the six chimes outside from the bell. I've only slept two hours. We made it through the cool halls and down through the dark staircase that felt all too familiar. Except it wasn't dark this time when I walked down. I completely forgot I was glowing.

Is there a way to turn this off? I questioned to myself with a pout.

We opened the door to my fathers ghouls common room to which my father was already there. So we're all the other of his ghouls.

"Ah bambina, glad you made it here." My dad cheered. Every ghoul just stared at me with their bug like eyes. I couldn't see their eyes because of the glare in the goggles, It felt soulless. "How are you feeling?"

"Fine." I answered shortly. All the ghouls started looking at each other then nodding. They were sending mental messages to each other which caused me to hold my arms and scratch at them a bit.

"Aether and I were talking and we think it would be best for you to stay down here for a bit. If that's okay with you."

"Yeah, sounds good." I nodded. It did not sound good. I just wanted to go home and sleep in my bed. I wanted this all to be a dream and wake up, but it's not and I'm stuck here with people who most definitely don't want to see me. I mean the quietness of the room proves it along with their dead cold stares. I glanced over all the ghouls. The only two not bothering to look at me were Mountain and Rain. Mountain was looking at the floor and fidgeting with his fingers, breathing slowly like he was concentrating on it, something he did when he was upset, anxious or stressed. Rain was focused on Mountain he was watching him and took his hands when he noticed he was picking at his nails. He was trying to soothe Mountain while the rest of the ghouls remained oblivious to this behavior.

"Aeth can you show me my room?" I asked, looking up at the ghoul with pleading eyes wanting to get away from the rest of the pack.

"Yeah, follow me."  He said nodding and waved me in the direction towards the rooms "You are going to be next to Mountain and across from Phantom." I nodded as Aether opened the door and we both walked in. He closed the door behind him and looked at me sitting on the chair in the corner of the room before continuing "I know you want to talk about something and that's why you asked me to bring you, so what's up?"

"Okay for starters, who is Phantom and why is he here?" I asked while sitting on my bed.

"Phantom is my brother, he's here to replace me in the band. I have an issue with my hand from an incident backstage last year and playing guitar hurts now. Copia then summoned my brother to fill in and gave me the duty of what he likes to call ghoul wrangler and it's just to basically keep them in check and make sure they get to stage on time, and no humans see them unglamored and all that fun stuff." Aether explained with a chuckle "and I know you are gonna ask. I was helping carry one of the big amps and it fell on my hand, I'm fine now though."
