Me and Mountain sat in my room just ten minutes after unpacking some boxes. It wasn't much since most of my stuff was with Zach.
I just don't understand how Mountain could be my mate and he didn't tell me. There has to be something else happening. I mean he's always been this nice to me. And maybe he's just protective because of Dew.
"What's on your mind?" Mountain asked as he touched my wings.
"Nothing. The room just looks so empty." I lied as I looked around. Though I wasn't really lying, my room was very empty.
"It will fill up the longer you stay."
"You're right. I just wish I had everything." I explained and he nodded and let out a hum of agreement. "What's Aether's brother like?" I asked out of nowhere.
"Phantom? He's nice, still adjusting to being up here though." Mountain said, raising an eyebrow at me. "Why?"
"I was just curious." I replied, shrugging my shoulders and sitting on my bed.
"I think you are just trying to change the topic." Mountain looked at me crossing his arms "Don't lie what's on your mind."
"He just interests me...I don't know why though. I feel kinda drawn to him. I want to figure him out." I explained with a shrug.
"Like how you are drawn to me?" Mountain asked with a raised eyebrow squirming uncomfortably under my gaze.
"Kinda...I'm more drawn to you than him which is why I'm just leaving it up to curiosity... So you want to listen to some music? This was left here because Zach had one." I asked with a smile and set up my turntable.
Mountain watched me closely, "Yeah I'd be okay with that, what albums do you have?"
"We can listen to ghost." I said pulling out my copy of impera and mountain laughed as I put it back.
"Why do you have that?" He asked.
"I have all of the albums. I like them." I said with a shrug and finally pulled out my copy of The Death Of Piece Of Mind by Bad Omens.
Mountain smiled at my album choice and reached for my waist pulling me back to my bed to cuddle, not bothering to bring up Phantom again.
"I'm hungry, do you want me to grab some snacks?" Mountain asked, breaking the silence.
"I could go for some snacks." I said with a smile and nodded my head.
"Okay, I'll be right back." He said and got up to get snacks.
I got up and went to change out the album after hearing my door open.
"Wow, that was fast Mount." I stated as I put the vinyl away and took the second one out of the sleeve.
"You wish it was him." Dew said with a laugh.
"Get out of my room, Dew." I said rolling my eyes.
"Aw baby, Rainy and I just wanna have some fun...isn't that right baby boy." Dew said cooing the baby boy.
"Yeah we just wanna have some fun." Rain said and looked at me with pleasing eyes.
"Both of you out." I said rolling my eyes at the pair.
"No." Rain spat out.
"I'll kick your ass again." I stated and crossed my arms.
"No you won't." Dew spat.
He lunged at me and I screamed ducking out of the way. I ran towards my door grabbing the handle and opening it.
"MOUNTAIN!" I yelled out into the hallway before being pulled in by my arm, Dew scratching deep into my forearm crying out in pain.
