(IDK how old you all are but this is from Elmo in Grouchland all the creatures like Oscar live here and at the end of the song they sing they say now scram which is basically the whole Isle of the Lost vibe welcome to the Isle of the Lost now scram trust us you don't want to be here and neither do we)
That's kind of what the Isle of the Lost is. Grouchland but also Alcatraz but wondering around freely but no way off the island. Yes welcome to our home if you don't get out of here now you'll never get out of here ever. Might as well scram they don't like people like us here.
I was supposed to grow up here. Part of me wishes I could've. But I knew what would've happened to me if I had. And what happened to me could've been worse had I not been found. I could've become evil or died. Thankfully I was found.
But the other half of me is grateful. I'm glad I met Harmony and all my other friends. I couldn't had done that if I had lived here. Carlos and I would've probably never gotten together and so forth. But I was still seriously gonna hex Jay into next week for this whole mess.
How were we gonna get back home? And of course Audrey had to go and ask where we were and was very disappointed in hearing we were on the Isle of the Lost. And then also begging Ben to protect her because of course she was scared now.
Though a big group like this was oddly suspicious and against a bunch of VKs that knew their way around here. And to top it off because Ben's dad we had no service here so we had no idea where we were. This would be a cool hang if this was like a place for like emo/goth kids.
Or the kids that wanna be different and are going on an adventure but are along way from home. But they meet the two like cool bad boy types that think they're bad and that they're cool and are just trying to show off but they're not as bad as they seem and show the out of place girls around.
Taking their advice as to not get caught and they give them like disguises or whatever so that they can blend in and not stick out like a sore thumb and get caught or whatever. Cause the crime rate is bad in places like those. And these are like stereotypical Johnson county white girls that have no business being there.
But they wanted to be cool and wanted to break from the stereotype and show people that they can be more than that and handle themselves and don't need people to fight their battles for them. And all they wanted to do was like go to this club but it was on the bad side of town.
That's the Isle of the Lost. Or could be if more people were like that. Some of the kids are not that bad. They want out and they want to be an AK. And leave this place behind. Evie has been taking this one urban planning class or whatever and the drainage was bad.
If they just had a better catch basin it wouldn't be so bad. And I was proud of Evie and how far she'd come. She's not just pretty she's super smart. There is nothing she can't do. Eventually. Me on the other hand it would be easier for me to learn how to be evil.
Everyone already thinks I am anyways. And no one would give me grief because of who my mom is. Or because of who I am. The drowned daughter the survivor. The AKs are too high maintenance this is a place for me. I'll just give it a little makeover and fix it up.
But of course I said this all in my head so no one else heard it but me. In the meantime we found a place we could go into after Ben almost got his wallet stolen but there was no way across minus through the mud. Ben wanted to cover it up but Mal and I had other ideas.
Why should you cover up a perfectly good puddle of mud. As we jumped around and splashed in it and having a great time Evie informed the rest of them this was not a VK thing it was a Mal thing. Ben quickly agreed. Oh yeah Farrah loves mud too. Mom scolds her when she gets messy though.
And so did FGM when she was still the headmistress. Though she spends most of her time in the water. Wait won't that just turn them both into mermaids? Not if there's no magic here. But we should get inside. Once we did we had a look around.
Evie and Mal were looking at a book for Dictatorship for beginners while the rest of my friends were looking at all this other amazing stuff in here. To them it's junk but to us it's like human treasures. Yep that is so Melody's daughter. You can tell she and Ariel are related.
Mal rolled her eyes. But Farrah or Jade or whatever she wants to be called on the other hand is not related but the water G-Ds saved her or whatever and turned her into a mermaid so that she would live or something. But while this is junk to us it's treasure to them.
But be careful what you wish for I guess because we wouldn't be here if it weren't for the lamp. Uh oh. Mal turned and saw Freddie she was trying to make Audrey steal a necklace from the store which is kind of how things work around here. If she won't take it I will.
I hold out my hand. It's so pretty. But any of this probably looks pretty to mermaids like Harmony and I. They're human things. We don't care where they come from they all eventually end up with us anyways. No kidding? She questioned. Harmony and I shake our heads as our friends agree.
You're all from under the sea? She questioned. Uh huh. Are you scared of Uma? Why should we be? We've never met her. I'm guessing that's Ursula's daughter. Just because their parents were enemies doesn't mean we have to be. I mean I like you just fine not that your Gaston's kid.
Freddie daughter of the Dr. Facilier at your service ladies she tipped her hat. Why uh oh? Ben asked Mal. That's Freddie. And you've heard who her dad is now. Mal said. We need to blow this voodoo stand. Busted? Or too be trusted?
