What happened?!

Can anything else go wrong today? I am not being dramatic! Ok yes I am not the point! The point is we were supposed to be at the party by now via flying carpet and the boys were in charge of getting it here. Not that we all would've fit on one in the first place. We would need more than one. Maybe each couple could've flown in on one together to make an entrance though I'm afraid of heights but flying on a magic carpet with Carlos would've been nice and I know he would never let anything bad happen to me.

I'm sure there was a perfectly good reason why he and Jay and the others guys weren't here yet and not because they flaked like Evie and Mal thought they did Harmony and I had more faith in our boyfriends than that. But Carlos hadn't texted me back after I tried to check in with him about 15 mins ago when Mal and I told the gang the boys would be any moment. But it didn't seem like any of our other friends had faith in them Jordan thought that since one of the friends we were talking about was Jay she heard about him stealing things but Mal and I told her he doesn't do that at least not much at least not anymore.

Then again he was one of if not the best thief on the Isle so I've been told. of course Audrey was worried about it being stolen that and having her hair ruined by the wind. Good thing Evie came to the rescue again with the pink hair helmets she designed. And since Audrey liked them she said she took back every bad thing she said about Evie but Evie apparently didn't know Audrey said bad things about her though this was Audrey we were talking about when has she ever said anything nice about us since we got here? Ally asked Jordan about having a magic carpet since our friends were no shows and we needed to get to the party. But one thing led to another and Audrey was telling us Jordan didn't pass her flying carpet test Jordan said she was taking it next week and that 13th time was the charm.

So we had to think of another way of getting there. But *hissing in no offense* (The kind you make when you want to let someone down easy more like a tsk with extra s'es like you're about to fake apologize) Ally kept saying no offense to me and Mal we told her we could whip something up when she asked Jane but she told us that the VKs weren't pulling through today which I didn't understand given all we had done for them today let alone the last half an hour but ok not offended I guess more confused than anything. Then she said no offense when she said when we try to help it lead to disaster which ok stung a little bit but her dress looked amazing no thanks to us and then she said we destroy everything we touch no offense and that was starting to feel a little offensive which we told Ally when we asked her if she even knew what no offense meant but my heart felt a little broken when she told us she didn't trust us. But I was happy for Jane when everyone tried to encourage her to use her magic. Audrey said she was gonna die if she didn't get to the party soon which was like ok good for Audrey as I roll my eyes.

Jane made a pumpkin with nothing short of a spell. While Ally asked about transportation Audrey said pumpkin clashed with her and if we rode in that Jordan said she wasn't gonna get any more viewers. But then Jane said "ike Cindy's pumpkin carriage a legend to us all. an even sweeter ride shall take us to the Neon Lights Ball!" And then it was an orange car. Audrey did one of those 180* behaviors good on Jane for getting that far but wanted to know if it would get pumpkin seeds on her dress when Jane said no it was fine they started going out to the car and she said it was green because it ran on vegetable oil so Jordan teased we would smell like salad dressing when we got there. While Mal and I and Evie and Harmony wondered about friends because like I said they thought they flaked. But if we didn't get out there with the others Audrey was convinced she was gonna turn into a pumpkin which Jordan told her didn't make sense and then we all got into the car. I just hoped nothing else went wrong.
