Chapter 9

Pov Y/n

It's dark again but this time I see some outlines.
I see a room and a red sign.
I can't recognize where I really am but it seems like this time I'm inside of a building.
I hear some people shouting.
Then there's a shot.
I feel the panic around me.
People start running and screaming.
Someone yells at them.
A woman I guess.
I can't understand what she says but she's scared.
Another shot.
I'm closer to the women now.
Everything is blurred.
Another shot.
She starts running.
I try to follow.
Another shot.
More panic follows.
A second person joins behind us.
Another shot.
He isn't running he's just walking. It's too dark I can't see everything.
Another shot.
But this time, it goes straight through me.

I wake up shrieking. "Holy fuck! Are you okay?", the Russian woman asks worried. I feel the tears burning in my eyes "I-I got shot. I don't know what happend. I didn't feel the pain nor did I see blood but someone shot at me.", a single tear runs down my cheek. "Hey hey hey, you're safe here. I'm here and I won't let anyone shoot you. Not over my dead body.". I chuckle a bit and she pulls me in for a hug.
I feel myself calm down a bit as we remain like that for a while.
"How do you feel?",she asks, lifting my head. "Better I think. Thank you, Nat". "Don't thank me. What do you think about watching a movie later? I'll go now and get you some food, then you'll eat and I'll go to the meeting. After we watch a movie and I'll invite you for dinner in a restaurant of your choice. How does that sound?".
I actually can't belive she just said all these things. She'd really do all of that for me? It's unbelievable. She's just way too kind. "Oh uhm, wow. Really thank you and I think all of that is a wonderful idea.".
She gives me a grin and leaves to get me some food. I make myself comfortable in my bed as she already rejoins the room with a huge plate of food. Pancakes, eggs and bacon, strawberries and raspberries, a glass of juice and a bottle of water extra. "Wow! As you said you're getting some food I didnt expect it to be a full meal! Thank you so much!".
"Everything for you. I'll see you later for the movie. Oh and by the way you can already choose a movie in meanwhile.". I nod.

Pov Natasha

*time skip: 10am in the avengers meeting room*

"So let's start this for another try.",Fury starts our meeting.
"So we got a mission a few days ago. We'll go tomorrow. I actually planned us to do the plan yesterday but as we all know something came in between it, didn't it?", he sends Maria a look and lifts his eyebrow a bit. She doesn't seem to really care and just shrugs.
"Well good let's continue now. The mission is about Hydra again. They got a new recruit, some kind of supersolider. We're supposed to take him down so he doesn't hurt anyone. There will be 3 teams. Tony, Clint and Wanda you'll take the guards and clean up the lanes. Rhodes, Sam and Pietro you'll search a high place to watch over the situation and give commandos if needed. Steve and Natasha get the soldier. The main part is supposed to be on Romanoff. Steve will be keeping away everything around Romanoff and the soldier that could be in the way. If she needs back up, give her. Natasha take down the soldier. Any questions?".
"Do we know if he has any special magic things like Wanda or Pietro?", I ask.
"No, we don't know anything about him. It could be easy but it could also be hard so be prepared for the worst. Especially you, Romanoff",he winks and I roll my eyes.
Everything on me again but no pressure of course.
"At what time will we go?", Pietro asks with his light accent. "Early, at around 5am".
Oh man not again. Why can't we have sleep for once? Well I guess I chose this. Kinda.
"You're free to go now".
We all leave and I make my way up to Y/n. While passing the kitchen I take a quick peek on the clock to see I've been gone for a whole hour. She's gotta be done with breakfast now probably.
I hope she liked it. I gave my best to not burn down the kitchen. Okay that's a lie, I did burn down some stuff and Wanda had to help me not no one needs to know that though.
