Hawks x Reader

You knew. You knew all along. You knew where he went when he said he was going to meet his friends. You knew what he was doing when he said he was at a meeting. Yet, you kept quiet and watched it silently for three years.

You came back home after a long and tiring day at work. You noticed Keigo sitting in the living room, waiting. You guessed by his serious expression that he had something to say to you.

"Hey, y/n? I have something to confess." He stated. You sat on the couch, facing him you asked, "Yes Keigo? What is it?"

He took a deep breath before finally saying, "I cheated on you."

Your eyes widened. Not from horror, but from surprise that he had the guts to confess it to you. It's not like you didn't know though.

"That's it? That's all you wanted to say?" You asked furrowing your brows.

"Yeah... Aren't you angry? I cheated on you y/n. Shouldn't you be angry, or like threaten to kill me?"

"Oh no, I already knew about it. That's why I didn't react."

"What...?" Keigo raised an eyebrow, his gaze fixed on you. "How could you have possibly known? Did you see or... hear something?" He questioned you, his tone stern and cold as he tried to get to the bottom of this.

"I saw you in bed with another woman. I saw you make out with her. I saw you going on dates with her while lying to me about work. I basically knew everything." You had a stoic face that made it impossible for him to understand what you were thinking.

"How long did you know?!" Keigo snapped, his voice getting louder each second. He was fuming as he shouted, his eyes filled with anger as he gripped the collar of your shirt, his hands tightly clenched and his nails digging into your skin leaving crescent moon marks. His gaze was still locked on you as he asked again, "How. Long. Did. You. Know?!"

You didn't react, nor did you flinch when he gripped your collar. You kept your normal expression as you said, "The whole time."

"Why didn't you say or do anything?!" Keigo demanded through gritted teeth, his nostrils flaring as he let go of your collar and took a deep breath. "Don't you care at all? Why?!"

"Oh Keigo," You laughed, making him even redder with anger, "Would it even make a difference if I said or did anything?"

"YES!" He shouted, his anger building inside of him as he glared at you. His tone filled with bitterness and malice as he spoke, his eyes still fixed on you as he grabbed the fabric of your shirt, shaking you as if you were a rag doll. "Why wouldn't it make a difference? Why wouldn't it?!" He questioned again, his voice quavering with rage and fury. He felt his heart pounding in his chest. His fists trembled slightly as the anger consumed him, eating away at his self-control slowly.

"Because Keigo," You had a serious expression on your face as you started to speak with a stern tone, "Once a cheater always a cheater. If I confronted you, you'd probably stop your affair. But it wouldn't give me back my trust in you, would it?"

"So?" His eyes narrowed as he spoke, his voice a cold and harsh whisper as he glared at you, his eyebrows furrowing as he listened to your words, before laughing darkly, a dark chuckle filling the room, his lips curling into a cruel smile as his eyes glistened. You felt a chill down your spine as he spoke. His smile widened, his tone filled with venom and malice as his voice turned bitter the second time he spoke. "Are you implying that we end things?"

"Look at you playing the victim now." You chuckled.

"Do you think I like hurting you?!" He growled as he spoke, his tone cold and hard as his voice rose higher and higher, the rage still building up inside of his chest as he took a deep and calming breath. "Do you think I enjoy lying to you?! Do you think I want things to be this way?!" "ANSWER ME!"
