Double Agent

Chapter 12

Hotch was bouncing on the balls of his feet. Jack and Jessica were looking at him, "What's going on?", Aaron looked at his ex sister in law and his son. "I want you to meet someone.", the doorbell rang and Jessica raised an eyebrow. The timing was way too perfect. The clock said exactly 10:00am on a Saturday morning. They were all dressed for a day out. Where they were going, Jack nor Jessica knew. Hotch came back with Olivia beside him. "Dad, I've met Ms. Hexlie.", Olivia chuckled, "Yes you have little man, and I brought you something.", Jack ran over to the woman and she swooped him up, making the boy laugh. Aaron watching with a smile on his face and his eyes soft, and that's when Jessica knew. "Oh. This is the girlfriend.", Aaron looked at her, "How did you know?", Jessica chuckled, "Because you look at her in a way you never looked at my sister. You loved my sister, sure. No doubts about that. But you love her and are in love with her. So. Who is she?", Jack ran in, "Dad, Liv got me a new Spider-Man toy!", Aaron sent Liv a look and she gave a smile. "What? I bring him something everytime I come over.", Aaron chuckled, "That's cool bud, why don't you go put it up so we can go on our adventure.", Jack left the room and Olivia's smile dropped as she looked at the blonde in front of her. Jessica raising an eyebrow, "What's that look for?", Olivia tilted her head, "I'm trying to decide if I should call my contacts or not. You knew of the cheating and the gambling, and even took her to one of the drug houses. Yet you act so innocent.", her eyes narrowed and Hotch frowned, "What?", Olivia nodded, "I can have the images sent over in two minutes but she knew.", Aaron looked at Jessica and the blonde shook her head, "The American Agent, the President's Soldier. Haley talked about you.", Olivia smirked, "All bad things, I'm sure.", Jack ran in and Aaron grabbed him. "Let's start getting loaded up.", Olivia smiled at Jack and the two Hotchner boys went outside. "I will give you today. But one wrong move and you will be punished. I hope you make amends with everyone you've lied to.", Olivia went to leave and Jessica grabbed her wrist, making Olivia reach on per instinct. Jessica was down on the ground with a knee against her throat, her eyes wide as Olivia tilted her head. "Try anything and swat will be on you in and instant. Because I know you helped Haley steal from him for her drugs and gambling. You're an accessory to her crimes. I will not allow you around Jack. I should have pulled Jack years ago but because of my love for Aaron, I didn't. Do not test me. You will not win, as your sister found out.", Olivia stood up, "You can come today, and one wrong move I will have you arrested on the spot. Or you can go home and be arrested in the privacy of your own house. And do not try to run. I will find you. And if you try to run. I will kill you.", Olivia flashed a smile and walked outside. Aaron looking at her and she smiled at him, Jessica came out of the house. "I'm so sorry, but something has come up at home and I need to get back.", Olivia raised an eyebrow at the woman. Aaron having guessed this would happen, "That's okay. We can still have fun with Liv, can't we buddy?", Jack nodded and Liv kissed the boy on his head. Jessica felt her heart warm. At least she knew her nephew would be safe. That's all she wanted was her nephew to be safe. And she didn't think there was anywhere safer than beside Olivia Hexlie. The woman was scary and had an any means necessary policy but she cared. Luckily, she cared for Jack and Aaron. Olivia figured Jessica would leave, so, she had placed a GPS device on her car before knocking on the door. Dig was able to track it and her team would be on Jessica in no more than two hours. A warrant already in hand.

Jack smiled as they walked around the zoo. Olivia sparing no expenses. The woman had way more money than she knew what to do with. Retired Veteran money, working for the President, and being an FBI Agent. She made more in a month than most made in a year, a lot of her money went to charities and schools but even then. She still had too much. Olivia's love language wasn't common. She didn't do acts of service or gifts or touch. She did, but not for that reason. Her love language was protecting everyone she cared about. Which is why when someone began following them through the zoo at a distance and taking photos, she grew tense. "Dad! Can we get snacks?", Olivia nodded, "Of course we can! What do you want buddy?", Olivia picked Jack up and handed him to Hotch. Her eyes on the man following them. She stuck her hand in her pocket and sent a message to Dig and the President letting them know she was being following. "Why don't you guys go get in line for some of those potato sticks. I have to go to the restroom. I'll be right over there.", they nodded and Hotch noticed she seemed uneasy but he didn't say anything.

Olivia weaved through the crowd and found the photographer, she quickly grabbed him and pulled him into a employee's corridor. She slammed him against the wall and her eyes were dark. "Who the hell are you?", his eyes were wide. "I just got told to follow the kid.", her eyes narrowed, "By who?", he shook his head, "I don't know, it was an online inquiry.", Olivia tilted her head as she heard footsteps and her team was there, her President's team. She handed the camera to Dig, "It was an online inquiry. He doesn't know who hired him. He was tracking the boy. Sounds like child abduction to me.", the guy's eyes widened and he shook his head, "What, no.", Olivia tilted her head, "Hmm. Yeah. Maybe don't just take every job given to you.", she cuffed him and threw him to the side. "I want whoever hired him, found. Quickly.", the team nodded and Olivia left the corridor making her way back to Hotch and Jack with a smile on her face and she was less tense. Jack was happily eating on his potatoes and Aaron looked at her, "What's wrong?", she tilted her head, "I don't know, but I'll find out.", her eyes stayed on Jack and she made sure he was safe the rest of the day. Hotch frowning at her actions but felt his heart warm that she showed so much care for his son.

Night had fallen and Jessica and the stalker were both with the team being questioned. Jack had just gone to lay down for the night and Olivia looked at Aaron. "I didn't go to the bathroom at the zoo. Earlier. We were being followed and the guy had a camera. Dig and the others came and got the guy. He had an online job request and payment to follow Jack around. It was anonymous. They're tracking the IP and payment.", Aaron looked at her. "How did you notice we were being followed?", she smirked, "I'm an American Agent, Aaron. If I didn't notice, I wouldn't be good at my job.", he chuckled and pulled her to him. "Thank you.", she frowned, "Whatever for?", he sighed, "For caring about me and Jack.", she softly smiled, "Aaron, I love you and Jack. Of course I care.", she kissed him gently and he gripped her hips. "I love you too.", she smiled against his lips and she took a breath, "I should get home.", Aaron frowned, "Stay. Please.", she raised an eyebrow, "You remember what happened last time we spent the night together?", Aaron smirked, "I do. All too well.", she rolled her eyes and lightly slapped Aaron on the chest, "Not that, get your head out of the gutter. I'm talking about the team calling and us answering the wrong phones. Besides. You need a day with you and Jack. Take him to the soccer field tomorrow. I have a meeting anyways.", she kissed his cheek, "Who could you be meeting on a Sunday?", she smirked, "I had my team called in today. I need to do paperwork and explain why. It shouldn't take long. I promise. After he is done at the soccer field, we can go get lunch or something. I promise.", Aaron sighed but knew she was right. He just didn't want to spend time without her. He had already lost 12 years. He didn't want to lose anymore time. Especially not when she was right in front of him. "Goodnight, Hotchner. I'll see you tomorrow.", and Olivia left the apartment, disappearing behind the front door. Her eyes wide. She hadn't meant to tell Hotch that she loved him and Jack. But, a smile pulled over her lips. He loved her too. She blinked a few times before she went to her car and her phone rang, it was Dig. "Talk to me.", and she clenched her jaw. Jessica broke and admitted to her crimes but the stalker was a hard wall. "I'll be there to break him.", she hung up and cursed in French before she took off to the President's warehouse.
