Life, with all its unpredictable ups and downs, weaves a tapestry of moments that can bring both joy and sorrow. But for the first time in what seemed like an eternity, you found yourself dancing on its brighter side, looking promising and joyful.
From the moment you and Hoseok revealed your deepest feelings of love, many burdens felt like had disappeared from your heart. The world appeared to be knitting a vibrant coat of happiness for you as you spent the night together, surrounded by the warmth of friends, sharing laughter over silly conversations and a delightful dinner.
Jake, in his ever-forgiving nature, quickly resumed his comfortable demeanour, erasing any need for you to seek his forgiveness for your earlier abruptness. That was one of the aspects you cherished most about your friendship with him—the absence of grudges in his heart.
The following day was an exhilarating burst of joy, as Hoseok extended an invitation to embark on an adventure at a thrilling amusement park. From dawn till dusk, you revelled in the excitement of trying new games, embracing unfamiliar experiences, and surrendering yourself to carefree abandon. Skipping lectures without a trace of worry and enjoying the freedom of carelessly navigating the expenses of life, you couldn't help but find countless smiles etching across your face.
Yet, as the sun set on another day, and Hoseok clasped your hand in his, a flicker of unease began to dance within you. The hard lessons life had taught you whispered cautionary tales of vigilance during times when everything appeared to be sailing too smoothly.
"Guys, go ahead without us. I and Y/N have somewhere to be." Hoseok urged the rest to continue towards the restaurant he had arranged for them to have a lovely dinner.
"Ohooo, private things~" They didn't miss the chance to start teasing you, making you yell at them to get going quickly, a thing that just made you all start laughing as they did so.
"I will see you at home Y/N~" Yukio waved at you as she was walking away and you waved back, feeling slightly embarrassed but also excited to get to know where Hoseok was planning to take you.
"So...what plans do you have?" You turned around and questioned him and he just flashed you a smile before he unexpectedly invaded your body, and before you know it, you found yourself standing at a hill full of greenery and a nice view of the whole city. A light wind was blowing by that made you leave a soft exhale before a smile reached your lips and you approached further at the wooden fence that lay ahead, just so you could take in the breathtaking sight a bit better.
"This feels so nice." You murmured softly then you turned around to look towards Hoseok who stood there with a single daisy flower in his hand.
You smiled more as you skipped your steps back to him and he looked at you endearingly as he could hear your thoughts of admiration towards that small flower that you found pretty.
"Can I have it?" You questioned him, even though in your mind you were already sure that it was meant for you.
"Mhhh no." He replied making your smile fall instantly.
"What? Why would you keep a flower? It's obviously for me. Give it to me." You ordered him and he just allowed one of his tails to appear and get hold of the flower, only to raise it so far above you that there was no chance of you ever getting it.
"Yah! How can you be so petty! You think I can't take it?" You allowed your gaze to turn stern and he gave you a smug look before he spoke those fueling words.
"You are certainly incapable of reaching it." Words that made you want to prove him wrong instantly so you approached him more and started trying to lower his tail to get it but that only made him start laughing.
