The weekend had arrived soon enough without you having succeeded in taking a word out of Hoseok as to why he wanted to go there.

Even though you had asked him each time you had seen him after that night, he had avoided replying to your question along with other ones that included how was he going to pay for the tickets and the hotel rooms since he had claimed that everything was on him.

He was a spirit with no concrete life after all so you were more than worried about that, but strangely everything seemed on point while you had reached the airport and had passed through check-in. You had boarded the plane normally and you had reached Egypt without any issues, even though you couldn't help but feel alert throughout the whole flight.

You didn't have the best memories from your last flight after all since he had made sure to traumatize you by popping out of mirrors and dropping the plane here and there just to create turbulence. Yet this time he really had done no playful actions and even though it was a relief it was also suspicious.

You had reached the hotel normally while your friends were bursting with excitement enjoying Hoseok's behaviour that had grown more friendly with time and he had won them all over, finding his company more than pleasant. Even Yukio herself seemed to have forgotten for a bit who he really was, as she kept smiling at his jokes and teasing that he would occasionally do to you.

"See, you have nothing to worry about. We are getting along just fine." Jake had turned and whispered to you as Hoseok had given them each their card keys so each would go leave their baggage and then proceed to go out to explore around and do some sightseeing.

After such a long flight truth was that you needed some rest but because you only had two days in your disposition you had to make the best of this trip and take from it as much as you could. Cause at the end of the day neither you nor your friends had been to Egypt before.

You changed your clothes quickly once inside your room, which you were sharing with Hoseok since Lola had occupied the one with Yukio and Jake with his roommates had taken the larger room because they were three. After that, you left the hotel and had gone to see the pyramids as you decided that it was the first thing that everyone wanted to visit.

During the whole ride there, everyone kept talking and taking pictures of themselves and the place, full of excitement, obviously having the time of their lives and you were enjoying yourself too but not as fully because you couldn't help but be aware of some uneasy feeling that had woke up inside you.

Nothing was out of place and Hoseok didn't seem to be behaving suspiciously but something just kept you alert. It wasn't a fearful feeling or anxiety. It felt more like something unpleasant, a sense that made you feel like you shouldn't be there.

"Come Y/N. Get into the frame too." Lola pulled you so you would be in the group picture that they were taking and you smiled once before the camera, not wanting to ruin the picture.

After that, their conversation kinda carried your worried feelings away and you got entangled in their chats till you reached the destination and the guide you had along, started taking you around while explaining about the sight and its history.

Most of your friends were visibly mesmerized and awestruck by the information they were hearing along with what their eyes were seeing and so were you that started paying extra attention to the words of the guide while taking pictures of the scene wherever it was allowed for you to do so.

Time was flying enjoyably as you went around the giant Pyramid that was before your eyes till you suddenly took notice that Hoseok was no longer among you. You panicked for a moment at his absence and looked around in hopes of seeing him but once you did, you kinda grew nervous.
