y/n what did u need last night

I turned on my phone to see that Jennie had responded to my text from last night. I had stayed up almost all night thinking about my previous FaceTime with I.N. Had I actually liked him this whole time? I picked my phone up and responded to the group chat.

I think I like Hyunjin...

I wrote before setting my phone back down. I got ready and when I picked up my phone, I saw a text from Hyunjin. My face flushed and I opened it.

im coming over in 15 minutes and i'll use my key if i have too

I giggled and responded.

I walked downstairs and made a simple breakfast. As I was cleaning my dishes, there was a knock on my door. "I'm coming!" I said when I put the plate down and walked to the front door.

"Hey dummy." He said as he walked in. I smiled and sat next to him on the sofa, keeping some distance between us.

"Why did you come over?" I said looking down at the floor.

"I need a reason now?"

"Yes."

"I wanted to watch the second movie."

"Of To All The Boys I've Loved Before?"

"Yeah." I grabbed my remote and opened Netflix. He scooted closer to me but I started moving farther down on the couch, until I couldn't. He tried to put his arm around me but I quickly stood up and said, "I'm gonna make popcorn." He slowly nodded, obviously a little confused. I walked over to the kitchen and put a bag of popcorn in the microwave. After I hit the START button, Hyunjin's arms wrapped around my waist.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Hugging you?"

"Why?"

"Do I need a reason for this too?"

"Mhm." He pulled away and sighed, leaning against the counter. The microwaved beeped and I opened the door.

"Can you past me a bowl?" I muttered, he nodded and reached into the cabinet below him to grab one.

I scurried back over to the couch, where he was already sitting and placed the bowl in between us.

Rose responded to my text in the group chat towards the end of the movie.

Lisa responded, I smiled and Hyunjin looked at me. I put my phone down and looked over at him, our eyes locked. The movie ended and I said, "Do you wanna get boba?"

"I can't right now, I have to go rehearse soon."

"Oh ok, are you planning on leaving now orrr?"

"Yeah, I'll text you after though, maybe we can go later tonight." He said while picking up his belongings and opening the door.

"Yeah, of course."

"Bye Y/N." He said and planted a kiss on my cheek. I stood there in shock for a second.

"Yeah, bye." I said and closed my door. I don't know why I was so surprised, it definitly wasn't his first time kissing my cheek. I picked up my phone and texted I.N with a sigh, sliding down my door.

actually i do remember him saying he wanted to practice some dances

he said he'd text me after to see if we could go later

I turned off my phone and stood back up before walking back to the living room.

IT WAS ONLY YSTDY THAT I REALIZED THE FULL PART SPLIT BTWN TWO CHPTS WTH, I HAD REWRITTEN IT JS TO FIND OUT IT WAS JS A GLITCH FML?!??

ong i had a whole debate with the chpt name, wether it should be close to you or awkward silence (w song literally whenever i cry i put it on so i stop crying) ANYWAYS bc that kinda ending part i wanted to make awkward, if i wang to ghange it i will later
