It did end. It ended with us falling asleep on his couch after just talking all night. I woke up by the sun shining through the white curtains, It was peaceful, almost like a lazy Sunday. Until I realized that It wasn't Sunday, It was Wednesday! I rushed out the door, no shoes, no phone and no idea what time it was.
It turned out to be early in the morning before school had started, so I went home to get my bag and change clothes. I felt pretty bad to just leave Grayson without saying anything, because I was in no rush so I didn't even have an excuse. When I got school I went to see If Grayson was standing by his locker. So as a habit I looked left, but he wasn't there. Maybe he was late, but being late wasn't something that usually happens to Grayson so I couldn't help but to wonder what was wrong, but skipping class wasn't really my thing, so I waited until I could go home. I went to my house before I was going over to his house to see what was wrong, but when I Drove up my porch I saw him standing there. Packed bags, almost like he was going on a Vacation. But then I saw my pink suitcase standing beside him I realized that he was thinking the same thing as I did last night, To go on that Adventure. In his hand he held two flight tickets and our passports, were we going out of the country? I shouted to him to jump in and that we were going to the airport to leave now
"The plane takes off in 3 hours" he said
And that meant we were in a hurry, because It took us 2 hours to drive to the airport. So when we got there, we went through security and ran to our gate to get just in time.
So when we sat there on our seats all the thoughts about what I was about to do were rambling inside my head. What about my mom? Where are we going? When will we be back? Will we even be back? What about school? What about all we were about to leave behind?
He asked me if I was sure If I wanted to do this
"I'd do anything to be with you" I answered.
And there It was. His gorgeous smile that entirely lit up my view and made everything around me no longer matter and I knew in that moment that even if I didn't think It through, I had never been more certain about anything.
So off we went, all the way to...
Brazil.
