At 01.00 I got a call from a unfamiliar number. At first I hesitated to answer, but then I chose to pick up the phone. I recognized the voice, hoarse and manly. It was Grayson. But why did he call me this late? And how did he even get my number?
"Come over, It's important" he said
"Yeah, I'll be there in 20 minutes"
I never would have said yes unless I knew something was wrong and this time, I was certain that something was wrong. Really wrong.
When I got there I found him sitting in a pile of papers, holding a piece of something that looked like a map.
"Is everything okay?" I Asked
"Yeah umh, take a look at this"
And he handed over the piece of paper. It was the same kind of Map that was drawn on his arm. Except that It wasn't the same destinations. My first thought was that It was another map, but then I took another look at his tattoo and I realized something. It wasn't another map, It was a second piece.
"What's wrong?" He asked me
"Nothing, it's just that..."
"Just what?"
"It's the same map."
"Huh?"
"Yeah, first look at the map on the paper, this is where we are now." I pointed at the green mark on the map.
"Then you follow the dotted line until It mysteriously ends. But when you look at the tattoo, you can see that the line continues on your arm."
"So what does that mean?" He said confused
"I think it means that they're not two, but one map if you put the pieces together."
I looked straight Into his sapphire blue eyes and he looked into mine. What we had just realized left us shocked, but also excited. I wanted to leave right now. Leave Denver and go on this adventure with him.
I could feel the connection between us, It was unexpected yet exciting.
My pulse raised while Seeing him lean towards me, I knew what he was about to do. He pulled me closer and gently grabbed my neck. The touch of our lips was like magnets, everytime I let go I wanted more. At first It was soft and gentle, but then we both were conscious of the connection we had and there was no longer any hesitation. It felt right in every possible way when he grabbed my waist and slowly moves his hands down towards my hips, I didn't want This moment to ever end.
