It was a rough take off, but when we finally went through and over the clouds, It felt nice. Hearing The noise from the turbulence and seeing the frost crawl up the windows was somehow comforting. The light wind above my head and the cold air below my feet was also something that I enjoyed. It took me back to those times when I used to travel with my family. Going on those vacations, when you're just filled of joy to be leaving the country and go to a place where you didn't have to care or think about anything. It was like leaving the actual world and entering the world of your imagination and then when you arrived you could feel the difference of the two atmospheres you've been traveling between. The warmer winds or the colder air, the comfortably burning sun or the fresh cold rain.
Grayson sat closest to the window, so I could lean on his shoulder. But at the moment we were both just staring out the window and watching the endless amount of clouds. The plane wasn't filled, It wasn't filled at all. Just a few people besides us so It wasn't a struggle to get out of my seat to go to the bathroom. On the way I met an old lady, about the age of 80, she had a kind face so I smiled at her and she smiled back
"What are you two love birds going to do in the big city?" She asked nicely with that cute shaky grandma voice. When she asked that question I realized that I struggled to answer, because I didn't even know.
"I don't know really, adventures. Appreciating the time of being young, but I don't know where we're heading"
"Oh, that's ventured. I can tell that he's your special one. The way he looks at you, that deary, that's love "
"You think He loves me?" I asked
"no, I know It"
I smiled at her. But not because she was being polite. I smiled by hearing those words, that he loves me. She ended the conversation by wishing us good luck and I smiled back once again, then went into the bathroom.
When I got back to our seats I directly got even happier by seeing him sit there, giving me that gorgeous smile of his and looking at me in the way that old lady described. I didn't say anything, neither did he, we just stared at each other. Then I sat down next to him, tilted my head left, leaned on his shoulder, closed my eyes and then I curled up while he held me in his arms. His chest was warm, which was soothing since I was cold and I felt the warmth from his body as I slowly fell asleep.
