The next morning Faith was back In her room after sneaking back in, her bedroom door swung open and she jumped out of her skin when she saw both her parents. "Jesus" she cursed, "sorry" her father apologised and she nodded awkwardly.
Since the situation, they had been distant and barely spoken. "Me and your Mother have been talking" he began, "and we have decided that you can go out now. We don't want to lock you away, we want you to have some fun before we get you into another school" she explained.
Faith felt joy overcome her, "really?" She gasped and they nodded. "We are trying to get you into a stricter school but it will take some time" her Father explained and she smiled. She wasn't overjoyed with the school part, but she could live with it.
A knock at the door signalled her mother to walk away, "so I can go out and stuff now?" Faith asked, her Father nodded. Her mother came back upstairs, "your friends here" she spoke and Kim came into view.
"You two can go out if you want?" Her Father suggested, "thank you so much" Faith thanked as she bolted towards Kim and the two rushed down stairs and went outside towards Kim's car. "Did you get ungrounded?" Kim asked as they reached the car.
"Yes, and did you get a new car?" Faith gasped as she looked down at the shiny new red car. "Yes, and it's a convertible" Kim hummed, Faith opened the car door and looked inside. "It's so cute" she complimented, "I know right" Kim agreed.
The two girls got into the car, "where do you want to go?" Kim asked. "Let's get some snacks and drive around" Faith suggested. "Sounds like a decent plan" Kim smiled as she put the roof down and began driving onto the road.
The two girls sung to songs on the radio, it was so settling for Faith to be having fun with her best friend. Soon the car became stationary outside a small corner shop, "go get some shit" Faith called as Kim got out the car.
"Hurry up I'm sweating in here" Faith joked, Kim picked up a newspaper and threw it at Faith which made the two girls laugh. "I'll be right back" Kim shouted as she disappeared into the shop. Faith watched her go before she picked up the newspaper that had been thrown at her.
Faith looked at the front page and read it, it claimed Tom had been seen kissing a girl. At first, Faith began panicking thinking they had discovered about them two. But that stopped when she saw the location, it was a place across town that she had never been to.
"What the fuck" she verbally spoke as she felt betrayal cover her tone. Kim came back skipping with happiness, she got back in the car when she saw Faith's face. "What's happened now?" Kim asked, Faith passed Kim the paper.
"Before your ask, I'm not the person they are talking about" Faith gave some context. "What the actual fuck" Kim snapped, Faith put her head in her hands and let out a deep breath.
"Let's go shopping, get him off of our minds" Kim spoke, Faith nodded even though she wasn't in the mood for that. She wanted to confront him but she knew she might break down if she got acceptance that it was true.
When the two arrived at the shopping centre, Kim dragged her friend round all sorts of shops. She picked up a few dresses, "Kim" faith spoke and Kim looked over.
"Can you do me a favour?" Faith asked, "yes I can" she nodded. "Can you take me to the studio?" Faith asked, Kim gave her a suspicious look. "Why?" She slowly spoke, "I need to have a chat to Tom" Faith replied. "Talk to the boyfriend that may have fucked up" Kim said.
"I highly doubt you'll be talking, you'll be yelling at him" Kim sighed.
