"Faith!" Her father screamed up the stairs, Faith shoved some money into her bag and scoffed. "I've told you like five times that I'm just coming!" She snapped back as she exited her new room and walked down the stairs.

"Come on your going to be late" he sighed, she grabbed her keys but he stopped her. "I'm driving you" he said and she looked up at him confused, "you don't know the way yet" he added. "I'm sure I can figure it out" she shrugged, "nope your coming with me" he spoke again. Faith put her keys down and followed her father out the front door.

She opened the passenger door and climbed into the car, the engine started up and the car began to roll onto the road. "So what even is this new job?" Faith asked as she figured she hadn't even bothered to ask. "Glad you finally asked" he smiled and she laughed, "sorry" she apologised.

"Don't worry, kids forget to ask sometimes" he replied. "I'm working in a music studio" he smiled largely as he watched the road. "Like with celebrities and shit?" Faith asked as she sat up kore straight. "Yes and please don't swear" he requested. "Sorry" she apologised once again.

"Are you going to meet any?" She asked and her father shrugged, "I guess so" he replied as they pulled up outside a busy looking school. Faiths attention was now on the building in front of her, the nerves began to fill her body as she stared at all the kids strolling in.

"Take me home please" she turned to her dad in a beg, "no sorry" he spoke as he clicked a button and the car unlocked. She sighed as she put her hand on the door, "it will all be fine. Once you get in there, it will be fine" he reassured her. She took a deep breath before opening the door and taking her first steps onto the ground.

She turned back to her dad who gave her a kind smile, "have a good day" he spoke and she scoffed. "I doubt I will" she muttered as she closed the door, the car quickly sped away and she watched as he turned the corner. It was just her now.

She focused her eyes on the school gates and began walking towards them, no one payed any attention to her. Faith entered the building and walked to the main reception, "hey darling what can I do for you?" A kind woman asked as she turned her chair towards faith.

"I'm new here" was all she could manage to get out, "you must be Faith" she smiled as she got up from her seat and grabbed a piece of paper. "Welcome to the school, this is your timetable" she handed Faith the paper and she looked down at it.

"Let me see if I can get someone to show you around" the woman hummed. "Kimberly!" She shouted and a brunette girl turned her head, "come over here" she requested and the girl did. "This is Faith, she's new around here" the woman began.

"You want me to show her around?" Her voice sounded kind, the woman nodded. "Yeah of course" she smiled, she turned to Faith. "I'm Kimberly but you can call me Kim" she smiled as she reached her hand out. "I'm Faith" Faith smiled as she shook her hand.

"Follow me" Kim smiled as she led Faith around the building, once all the students where in class they had the hallways to themselves and went off route a bit. "What made you move here?" She asked, "my dad got a new job" Faith replied trying to avoid eye contact.

Kim had noticed this, "have you any old friends?" She asked and Faith sighed. "I'll be honest with you, no" she spoke and Kim gave her a sorry look. "Well, I was going to offer anyway but you can hang with me. You seem cool enough" she joked and Faith laughed.

"Let me see your timetable" Kim asked as she looked at the paper in Faith'a hand. "No shit your in my classes" she smiled and Faith felt a sense of relief. "Come on, I'll take you to class" Kim smiled and the two girls went to class.

For the whole day, Kim made sure Faith was sat next to her. That included the break times they got, Faith had realised throughout the day that Kim had quite a name for herself. Around school, she was quite popular. Faith wasn't used to all of it, but she was enticed by it.

After school Kim took Faith to a small bench at they sat down, "so how did you find your first day?" She asked. "A lot better than I thought" Faith admitted, "well your days about to get a lot better" Kim added and Faith gave her a look of confusion.

"I have my links and I think you need a proper welcome to LA" she explained and Faith sighed. "I can get us into this night club, it's not far from here but it's so cool in there" she explained and Faith didn't like the idea.

She had never been to a club before, but maybe there was a first time for everything. "I know one of the bouncers, he lets me in with a few friends" she explained and Faith nodded along. "You have to come, tomorrow night?" She asked.

"I'll think about it" Faith replied and Kim smiled, a car horn sounded the air and Faith turned around to see her dad. "It's my dad, I got to go" she spoke quickly. "Wait" Kim stopped her, "give me your phone quickly" she spoke and Faith did. "I'll give you my number so we can talk" Kim smiled as she gave her, her phone back.

"Thanks" Faith replied, "see you tomorrow then" Kim sounded unsure. "Yeah" Faith replied as she backed up towards her dads car, Kim waved and Faith opened the door and climbed in. "Who's that?" Her dad asked. "She was with me all day" Faith replied.

"A friend?" He sounded excited, "I don't know if we could go that far yet" she quickly stopped him.

It was a short journey before they got home, she walked into her house and ran straight to her room. She sat, thinking about what Kim had said about the night club. She wanted to try new things and maybe this was give her a warm welcome to LA.

She looked down at the new number on her phone before calling it.

"Hey?" A voice spoke, "is this Kim?" Faith asked. "Faith! I'm so glad you called" Kim spoke through the phone.

"I'll come to the club"
