you were lying in the bed, reading some book you had, obviously not having anything else to do. Onceler was gone for whatever meeting a rich, successful people usually have, so you flipped another page, as you heard a loud bang in the door of your room.
your vision switched to it, as you flinched from the sudden sound. you thought it was someone messing around, and came closer to open the door to see what happened. as you touched the doorknob and opened it, you saw your best friend sitting on the floor, holding his head with his hat and his sparkly glasses lying right next to him.
"Oncie?" you questioned, being pretty much shocked by the picture in front of you. "what the hell? how did you even—" you couldn't bring yourself to finish the sentence as you looked down at him, slowly lifting his head up to look at you.
"did you know there's a terrible, scary thing lurking in this forest.." he started, widening his eyes slightly, still sitting on his knees as he placed his hands in between his legs, like a dog. it didn't take you long to process what was going on as soon as you felt the rough alcohol smell hit your nose. you never saw Onceler drink before, but wouldn't say you were surprised it happened, considering his current status in society and the things he's done.
"are you drunk?" you asked monotonously. he stopped talking and gasped as he tilted his head, giving you the most innocent look in the world. "what? no, i'm Onceler, not drunk!" he exclaimed.
you sighed as you took his hand in yours and pulled him towards you, trying to make him stand up. however, putting a bit more strength than needed, you ended up pulling him too hard, making him fall down on top of you.
you yelped from surprise, as he groaned. "you didn't let me finiiish.." he whined, lifting his head up to look at you, hitting you with the disgusting smell once again. with him being all up on you, you felt your bones slowly cracking from how heavy he was.
"so, his name is the lyrics, he eats the trees.. and you should RUN BEFORE HE GOT YOU TOO!!!" he yelled out the last part straight in your ears, as you flinched from the sound painfully piercing them.
