Chapter 23. Cleaning up a Stain

Crashes, thuds, yelps of pain and screams of fear can be heard in a distant as two figures speed pass the chaotic streets of Hosu. Kicking, punching and slashing every Nomu that tried to attack them. These two figures are Rumi Usagiyama a.k.a. Mirko and Izuku Midoriya a.k.a. Black Watch, hero and hero-intern respectively.

They are in their usual patrol to investigate the hero killer incident. Well, they were on their way when this happened.

FLASHBACK~~

Izuku is seated silently next to Mirko, who was reading a magazine, in a train on their way to Hosu. They've been asked to investigate the Hero Killer case there. And by asked, that means Mirko insisted them to go to Hosu to track down and capture Stain.

His internship under her is quite eventful. After their first spar, the heroine to began training him  in hand-to-hand combat in order to become stronger. To say he was tired after that training session was an understatement. She had him do run every morning with weights strapped on his legs.

She said it would help him move faster and kick stronger. Though if was true that his kicks and movement began to increase in strength and speed, it left his lower limbs shaking like a leaf in a storm. If it weren't for his Super Regeneration, his legs would've fallen off its sockets.

Izuku would've been sure that she was also a reincarnation of someone. Though he didn't know who.

After resting for 25 minutes or until his healed enough, they would spar for a bit. Mirko may be a battle junkie but she's a surprisingly good teacher. She would give him pointers in quirkless fighting and how to incorporate that fighting style along side his quirk.

With this training, Izuku is proud to say to improve drastically, fighting wise that is. He may not be able to beat her, the verdette was able to keep up with her.

Though, it was hard for him to focus at first. Seeing how attractive Mirko is, he would occasionally sneak glances at his mentor and marvel on how her caramel skinned thighs and legs would glisten with sweat after their usual spars. And how her cotton tail would slightly wag everytime she got excited in patrols.

Speaking of patrols, by afternoon, after lunch they would go on patrols. Like how Mirko would do it, they would go hop from rooftop to rooftop in search of a villain attacks or crimes. At first it was hard to keep up with her, but after five villain attacks in one day he had become used to her speed and was even able to apprehend a villain before she could land a hit on the poor villain.

She had praised him about it and he was sure she had a small blush on her face at that time. But he quickly noted it as an effect of the sunlight. It was fairly sunny at that time.

He was shaken out of his thoughts when a loud crash rocked the whole train. Izuku and Mirko quickly looked up and saw a large hole on the side of train and heard a pained groan. Izuku's eyes widen on what he saw.

They saw a man getting pinned on the train floor by a Nomu, but Izuku quickly noted that this one has pale green skin and four eyes protruding from its brain. It wears ripped trousers going up to its calves.

'A Nomu? The League of Villains are attacking Hosu?' he thought.
