{Hush}
"Laurel... Laurel, it's okay. We're here for you, just calm down." Stiles whispered in her ear, her arms wrapped around his torso, head buried in his chest.
"Jesus fucking Christ, I can not believe this..." Scott muttered as he tended to Allison's wounds,
And as he muttered, Stiles gently brushed his girlfriend's hair from her face, cupping her cheeks in his hands.
"Hey, look at me." She let out a small whimper and tightly pressed her eyes together, though it didn't stop the tears.
She knew what they saw, and she could feel her eyes. Laurel just couldn't stand them knowing the secrets that were buried within the red coating.
"I'm calling Isaac," Scott said, leaning against the car, pulling his phone out simultaneously. Laurel made no notion to his words. Not to any of theirs. She simply stopped crying... Stopped hurting.
"Laurel?" Stiles hesitated.
No reply.
"Laurel, talk to me."
Silence.
"Laurel! Please don't do this! It's just Stiles, just me, I'll do whatever you want just don't do it."
She opened her eyes, yet forcefully bowed her head,
"Take me away."
"Away as in... The library, or?..."
"Far. Take me away from it." She looked into his brown eyes, her pupils dilating slightly as the red color burned ever so brightly in her eyes.
"Why won't it stop?" Stiles asked Scott and Derek, his eyes darting back to the damaged girl.
"I have absolutely no idea," Derek observed.
"Why thank you, Derek, that should help us to solve the case," Stiles retorted sarcastically.
"Hey, you asked me and I answered. If I don't know what it is, I damn right don't know how to stop it. For all we know, it could be permeant damage. Or she could be an alpha."
"Does she look like she's in werewolf mode to you? Exactly, so brainstorm some logical things here." Stiles and Derek continued back and forth, Scott simply watching, his fingers tapping on his arm.
Laurel began breathing heavier, her hands clutching her hair,
"Stop it! Stop it now! I can hear you, for fuck's sake! I'm fine, just don't treat me like I'm some priceless artifact or a mental patient, just stop talking!" She screamed. Everything went silent until the crackle of leaves were herd.
Her eyes stayed in the ground, darting back to where the sound had come. A person emerged, and everyone took a deep breath in,
"Peter?" Isaac said from his unknown place in front if the Jeep.
"I'm sorry about what happened with Derek, but I just want you to be safe, happy." Stiles put one hand on her leg for a brief moment.
She stared at his hand, and eventually the empty space where it once was,
"As long as I'm with you." Was her only answer.
Stiles looked at her, his mouth slightly open, lips curved into a small smile.
Her dimples were visible as she watched his emotions change.
Happiness, realization, confusion, then it softened as he turned to her yet again,
"Your eyes are red. Red isn't usually good, but what if this time it is good. Or at least nothing seriously bad. You know what I mean?"
"Yes... Go on?...." She dragged out.
"What if this change says something your words can't?"
Shit. She tried to hide this.
"How so?" She asked calmly.
"Laurel, I love you so much."
