New.
I woke up, blinking slowly as I adjusted to the light. Isaac was asleep next to me, and I smiled, walking to his bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror, my vision clear. My grey eyes, usually framed by glasses, were now perfectly clear as far as vision goes, and are now the green they used to be before my father abused us. My teeth, once crooked and caged in by blue and silver braces were now perfectly straight and pearly white. My skin was clear, my hair that used to be a faded horrid color, is now the sandy blonde it was before.
Everything about me has improved, and I think I can get used to it. I think now... Now I can tell people who I really am, and that is Laurel Lahey. I can now tell people that Isaac is my older brother.
"How does it feel? You like it?" Isaac asked.
"It feels strange to be so... So perfect." I muttered, staring at the girl in the mirror.
"You were always perfect." Isaac smirked, opening the closet door. We have been staying in a hotel, and lets just say it isn't very large.
"Not perfect enough." I sighed, brushing through my hair. Afterwards I brushed my teeth, then the mouthwash. He rolled his eyes as I walked to the closet and he walked to the bathroom to change. I quickly pulled on a pair of black jeans, and a black tank top. Over that tank top I pulled on a loose metallic gold tank top, and then grabbed some socks. I quickly got on my converse as Isaac walked out, dressed and ready to go.
I gave him a toothy smile and he sighed, grabbing my arm as we walked out the door.
"So glad you came, Isaac, and Laurel." Derek said sarcastically as we got into the abandoned underground freak fest.
"I come with fo-" Stiles was cut off as he dropped a bag, staring straight at me.
"Hello." I smirked, and he picked up the bag, rushing over and giving it to Scott.
"So, now that Argent's wife died he will be after us and angrier with me than ever. So we need to prepare for attacks." Derek explained. I kept eye contact with Stiles the whole time, wishing I could read his mind.
After the lecture we began training, fighting, anything Derek said. I was watching with Stiles, as Derek told me to observe.
"So, umm, wow." He motioned to my body.
"Stiles, this is who I could have been if I tried."
"So..." He trailed off, still staring at me.
"Stop staring and start working." I instructed, tapping his nose. We watched them train for a while, and I took in every move.
I looked over to Stiles again, and he looked over to me. I stared into his eyes desperately hoping for him to understand the way I feel about him.
But apparently, he had his own feelings. His lips were on mine in a matter of seconds, and so I reacted by kissing back.
"Want to listen to me and get over here?" Nick asked. I quickly stood and walked towards him, still in shock of what just happened.
